They are still in the "seeker sensitive" category of Evangelical churches and go overboard trying not to offend people and give them a gentle nudge to continue following Jesus. Personally, I believe this method helps introduce people to Christ but is probably not the place for you when you decide you want to go deep. This is not a criticism. I believe sheep need to graze in different pastures during the course of their spiritual journey to get a wider bandwidth of faith expressions and doctrine.

Even when talking to other parishioners before and after service, some had pained looks on their faces and they could not tell me anything positive or negative about the church. They all talked about very generic things and the moment you ask them anything specific, they instead asked you questions. Almost like they have been trained or indoctrinated on what to say and what not to say. This place scared my whole family, not just me.

If you're looking for a large corporate church without personal involvement and you are a mature well established follower of Christ looking for decent Bible Exegesis, this could work but new seekers/followers needing Grace and guidance could be harmed and should approach with caution or find another church family more devoted to living out the scriptures.

As a Bible-believing Christian, I place a strong emphasis on the Gospel message, particularly salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. During the service I attended, I did not hear a clear presentation of the blood of Christ, repentance, or the Gospel as I understand it from Scripture. The teaching seemed to focus more on other topics than on the finished work of Christ on the cross. While others may find the church helpful, it was not a good fit for me because I am looking for teaching that places a stronger emphasis on the Gospel and the blood of Jesus for salvation. This is really a Kabbalah church, in my opinion.

I believe they are Sundays 9, 10:30 and 4:30 pm. Come early or you will likely have to park out on the street. Seating is a bit full for the 10:30 service. They are friendly and upbeat. Expect to be greeted by a number of friendly faces. The senior pastor, John Dickerson, is young, sharp and focused. His sermons are easy to follow and to the point. He provides a fill in the blank outline to help you follow along and take notes. He also shares the pulpit with other pastors so you will get a good variety of teaching. They have just added a new pastor to the staff as well. They have a vibrant children's ministry as well as adult Sunday school and a variety of other Bible studies and ministry activities throughout the week. Praise the Lord.
