Went in for a car wash and will never go back! The machine didn't work the first time around and I had to go back in fill out a form, get a refund and then have them charge my card a second time! Customer service is horrible, when I called from the car wash the guy hung up on me because he "was too busy"..when I did go in all four employees were very rude. If zero stars was an option I would rate this station and company as such. This United Oil has Horrible Customer Service. The cashier Cherrie and the Manager Adela are two rude individuals who should not have jobs that deal with the public. They made an error at the pump and then approached me as if I committed a crime, taking pictures of my vehicle and called the police. I have never encountered such treatment and I will push my car on empty before I get Gas from another United Oil station. I went for a carwash and my car was damaged. The corporate said they did an investigation and inspected their carwash. They said they didn't find a malfunction on their machine that resulted on my car damage. So they said they are not responsible for the damage. I know they say this to everyone that complains to them. read more

Cheap gas, nice facility, bad service. Prices are what brings the business here. That's about it. I tried to get a car wash. I gave up because it was a 30min wait and it was only 2 cars before me. What the hell is going on in that machine? Technical difficulties? Who knows. I drove off. Tried to buy gas today with cash. The cashier's have things ass backwards. Instead of spend the extra minute to put money on #11 she said, we need to do a change shift and system will be down for 5mins. Wtf?! Why don't you finish my transaction before you do all that. Screw it, going to pay with a card so I can avoid waiting for morons to run a cash register. This gas station is relatively new, so I like it because it is nice, clean and bright here. I feel relatively safe here, as I am apprehensive of going to other gas stations because there are a lot of random people hanging around. There are enough pumps so the lines aren't too bad and people come in and out fairly quickly. The customer service here isn't very friendly and welcoming, but they are prompt and do what they are supposed to. It is nice that they give you a discount on the car wash with your gas. I don't know what their minimum gallon is to grant you the $1 off but if you only get a few gallons the machine won't give you a discount. Another note, the car wash is relatively cheap, but may not be worth the hassle. Firstly, it takes a long time, about 5-7 minutes for each car to get through, depending on the level they choose. So, keep this in mind if you think the line is short. If you see 2 cars in line, there is probably one already in the wash, so by the time you are done, it would be 20-30 minutes later. This causes the line to be long, which in turn causes issues. The entrance of the line is close to the driveway to enter the gas station, so sometimes the car wash line blocks the driveway or people come in through the driveway and cut in line. Also, because the car wash wait is so long, I find that most of the customers become quite cranky and irritated. Once you've waited in line and decide you won't wait any longer, you actually cant exit the line without having everyone behind you back out. Of course, no one will let you out so you're stuck. Once they are in line, no one wants to move. Also, since it is automated, there are always technical glitches or people that can't figure out the machine which adds to the delays. Despite all that, if you just keep in mind that you have to wait if you want to get your car washed, you can make an informed decision. Also, the code that is printed on your receipt for the wash doesn't expire that day, so you can come back another time if the line is too long. This is a gas station, not a car wash so I understand. For the gas aspect of it, it is a pretty good place to go. read more

Yes, this United Oil gas station is brand spankin new. Prices are currently cheaper and I like the fact that it has a drive thru car wash. The only bad for me is that the pumps does not take AmEx. They accept Visa, MC and Discover credit cards only. read more

I love this United Oil gas station. It is everything you could ask for and a little more. The entire gas station from the bathrooms to the outdoor area is very clean. Not your usual gas station that's for sure. Visually this gas station is also very pretty and is updated every few years. The convenience store is fairly large and has a wide variety of snacks and drinks as well as some cold food items. They have a car wash that is available day and night and the staff here is always very helpful. The gas prices are also very fair! Love this location. read more

This gas station is located on 223rd and Figueroa, right across from Carnegie middle school. It is a pretty big gas station that also has a carwash. It can get crazy during rush hour, but the prices are always low. It's pretty new and it's location is convenient (near the 110 freeway). read more

Gas prices are the best in the area and no difference in price if you pay by cash or credit card. Looks clean and nice and lots of Vegas style lights at night. Only negative is if there is more than 1 car waiting for the car wash, you will be waiting at least 15 to 20 minutes. Weekday mornings are best for a car wash. read more

I like going here because the gas is cheap. And the gas station is brightly lit at night so it makes it less sketchy. It is also very spacious and there are a lot of gas pumps to chose from when it is full. As a gas station, it's a pretty good spot. The car wash on the other hand, it has it's good and bad days. Before it used to work perfectly, I would always get my car wash there. But now, it fuckin sucks! You would wait forever just to find out it doesn't work, often times you would get stuck there. And their assistance button doesn't work, so what's the point. They need to fix that ASAP. And also, they don't have a number to reach them when you're stuck in the car wash. Seriously a waste of time. They need to fix the car wash situation soon, or at least let people know when it's not working. It's not that hard to put up a sign. read more

I recommend nobody go to this place even for cheap gas. The manager there was very rude instead of trying to solve ur problem. I was there today for a fill up plus deluxe car wash. After I paid for both at the pump, I took the receipt and went for my car wash. This is the first time I ever get a car wash at the gas station so I didn't realize the # I punched in was the invoice for my credit card. However the machine still let me into the carwash. The woman stopped me just before the machine started n asked me for the receipt. She asked me where my carwash receipt # n I pointed out to her. She then yelled at me that was the invoice # n where is my carwash #. By this time I was confused so I told her I paid for both the fill up n the carwash but the receipt got stuck n this is what I have left. Instead of explaining to me what mistake i made, and politely ask me to return to the cashier n ask for a duplicate, she kept yelling at me and be rude. I go to this gas station at least twice a month for gas, and drive a big truck.. so filling up my tank takes about $100 every time. I really liked the fact that I could get the truck washed at the same place I fill up, but after tonight I will NEVER return to this station. I filled up my tank and decided to wash the truck.. 3 cars in line no big deal.. finally it's my turn to go in.. now mind you I have done this at least 20 times at this car wash and really I do know how to do the darn thing. I pulled in and it tells me to back up.. so I did, ok maybe I pulled to far forward it was dark after all.. so I back up.. and pull in again.. it tells me to back up again.. and again... and again.. Finally frustrated, and my car did have soap on it considering that I did get "the works" I pull out and go inside. to let them know what had happened. The woman at the counter/behind the glass treated me as if I were some kind of idiot.. and was rude as she could be. I will never purchase anything from this place ever again. My advice would be to hire someone with at least an half notion of what customer service is!.. She informed me that the car wash is very easy, and I shouldn't use it if I don't know what I'm doing.. I will take her advice and take my business elsewhere!!! I will be calling the manager to test his/her customer service in the morning! This location needs better management and better training for their employees. I waited over 40 minutes for a car wash after purchasing a full tank of gas and my code was "invalid". I go inside and they take my original receipt to give me a new code. I go back and it says it's an unathorized code. As I try to talk to the employee, he shuts me up and talks over me without even listening to what happened. He even went as far to raise a finger to my face as another woman behind me laughed. I asked for a refund because I no longer want to deal with the situation anymore. The employee then goes to say they don't give put refunds but I can call the customer service number. I ask for it and he just hesitates and rolls his eyes. I say thank you and leave. I've attempted to call multiple times. However, every time I call I get no answer. I have left messages but still no response. I've never had such problems at any other United Oil locations. Management really needs to evaluate and audit their employees and teach them a thing or two about working in the customer service industry. read more

I wouldnt give this place any star if i could! I had bought and paid for a car wash when i had my gas tank fillled and didn't use it till it was time to get a wash and right before it expired. When i entered the code it said it was invalid! I went to the office to ask for another code and was rudely told the codes been used! When i told them that's impossible since I've been out of the state and couldn't have used it! I asked to speak to the manager and never got a call back. I tried calling and after a few attempts i got a hold of one of the managers. Again when i told them what happened they adamantly refused to give me a replacement code.i wasnt even asking for a refund but my right as a customer who paid for a service i never used. Sometimes as cheap as uhhhem "that warehouse place", and it accepts visa, so getting cash back helps the price even more. This station has many pumps and I have never waited in line. Only down side is it is a pain to get into, going west to east you must pull a u-turn. Then coming out to get to the freeway you must cross to the far left lane and pull another immediate u-turn. read more
