That includes clothing, my wedding dress and wooden furniture. They were very friendly when we moved out and took care of a mattress and bed frame that we no longer wanted. Cons: Over the years, they raised the price from $60 a month to $81 a month. It would have been nice as a long-time customer to have the rate locked in. The price increase was ultimately why we moved our belongings out and into a shed instead. They also started requiring insurance. I purchased my own instead of using theirs, but they had a computer issue on their end that kept not processing my insurance. So every month I would be charged for their insurance and have to contact them for a refund. They were unable to fix the issue on their end, so I had to call my insurance company and have them alter the paperwork. It was a hassle.

On Sunday evening they let me know that no one would be here on Monday and that they would do it all on Tuesday. After talking with the office Monday morning they decided to send a crew out around noon. They arrived and started working. After about 15 minutes Kim came out to let us know they would have to raise the estimate and that the boss would call soon to talk to us. Kim was extremely nervous and was backed up by muscle when she talked to us. A real try at intimidation. The boss called and said instead of the estimate of $10,000 it would now cost us $15,000. We fired them and made them leave our house. They did not leave the neighborhood but continued to call and text. We had buyers looking at our house when the boss threatened to send Kim to our front door. We sure did not need that.

The car had just been purchased from Audi Sewickley, fully inspected by the dealership, and drove over 1,000 miles from Ohio to Florida with zero issues--no warning lights, no mechanical problems. When I dropped it off at CarLocker on May 8, everything was in perfect working order. Devin, a staff member at CarLocker, even drove the car himself and did not note any concerns. Fast forward to June 9 when I picked it up, Devin again drove the car and immediately commented on a dashboard warning light. Just hours later, while driving, the vehicle experienced a complete electrical failure and shut down in traffic. I had to call 911, and the police came to divert cars around me. Audi Clearwater diagnosed full failure of both the 12V and 48V batteries. Their service team stated this likely could've been prevented if the vehicle had been maintained properly, like keeping it on a battery charger, which is standard for long-term storage. I paid $4,364.96 for the battery replacements, plus $154.90 for towing totaling $4,519.86 out-of-pocket. I gave CarLocker the chance to make this right. Their response? Denial of responsibility and a claim that they only cover "gross negligence." Apparently, a car arriving in perfect shape and leaving with thousands in damage doesn't meet that bar. Whether it's gross negligence or just plain negligence, it's unacceptable. I expected better from a company trusted to care for high-end vehicles. I won't use CarLocker again, and I suggest others think twice.
