I would like to start with, I was a police recruit and had many flaws in my shootings. After taking Dan Schillaci courses, I become 100% confident in my shooting. Dan's qualifications and his experience with firearms are truly impressive, and the course is thorough and well-structured. He's very friendly, kept the course engaging, provided efficient techniques and tips, and allowed opportunities for questions. It was one of the most memorable days I had, for the course and range experience. I would definitely recommend anyone to taking any of Dan's firearms/ pistol sessions.

There are people who can shoot, then there are people who can shoot AND teach, like Dan. I bought my wife and kids an introduction to shooting class and was very impressed with Dan's knowledge and emphasis on safety. None of my family had any prior shooting or firearms experience, and by the end of the first session they were confident that they could handle a firearm safely. Not only that, but they could hit the target. I was impressed. Dan has a very easygoing demeanor and really the only stress you will feel is the stress you put on yourself. My family had so much fun that they didn't want to leave the range, so I signed them up for a follow-up class. Dan is a consummate professional and highly recommended.

My husband and I had the opportunity to take Dan's handgun safety course which provided me with not only gun safety training but taught me about the mechanics of my gun, disassembling and cleaning as well. I learned a lot and had a ton of fun putting what I leaned to practice at the shooting range. Dan's instruction helped me improve hitting the target and overcoming recoil anticipation. His firearms knowledge and his ability to teach made this course incredibly valuable and fun. I enjoyed it and learned so much that I had my two teenage sons take his course as well. Can't wait to do additional training with Dan and continue to improve my skills.

I just completed the Basic course with Dan, owner of United Shooting Solutions. I spent about 6 hours one on one with Dan that started with safety rules and shooting techniques to a very detailed demonstration of how to clean my HK P2000. We then moved to actual shooting and all I can say is that Dan is a fantastic instructor. Being a private lesson, every shot was analyzed and critiqued in a very positive way. We covered a lot of ground and by the end of the day, my marksmanship had improved ten fold. Once I get my holster, I will be back for Dan's intermediate course. A great day of learning and shooting with a fantastic instructor...thanks Dan!

Listen, I wasn't sure about this experience at first because heights? Me? Ooof. But this energetic,…read moreprofessional, kind, and extremely talented crew made the experience something to rave about. In fact, now I can totally see why people want to run away and join the circus!! Nestled right off of Collister and State in Boise, ID and with a super cute sign to boot, the crew was so welcoming. We started with warming up our shoulders then gratefully got to practice on a hanging bar much closer to the ground. They were there every step of the way with smiles and encouragement. I felt incredibly safe from start to finish and could tell that I was in very good hands. After a practice session and detailed step by step run through of how we would "launch", it was time to climb that ladder 25' up into the air. Sound scary? Yes, yes it was. But don't worry, you're in a harness and there is a safety line all the way up! Standing on that platform my heart was beating so hard but the instructors are just so awesome that I was expertly guided step by step until standing at the edge of the platform with the bar in my hands...it was time to fly!!! Now I have to tell you, I'm not an adrenaline junkie, I don't "like" extreme sports and I usually get carsick...ha. but you know what? Once I hopped off of that platform and the guide at the bottom was calling instructions, my body delivered and I felt like I've never felt before. My smile was just WAY too big while doing a flip dismount that I had to do nothing but follow orders to accomplish. I couldn't have felt more alive, accomplished, and so I happily scrambled up that ladder again and again to feel that rush. I didn't even get motion sickness, probably from all of the adrenaline coursing through my body! Always conscious about your skill and comfort level, they taught me a new move which I was able to practice. Some in the group even did a handoff which looked so cool! I couldn't be more grateful for this amazing experience, something I didn't even know that I needed to experience in my life. The whole crew was fantastic and kind. You don't have to be an adrenaline junkie to fly, and if you are, you'll just have that much more of a blast. Go fly!!

I scored a good deal on Groupon, picked up a bottle of wine, and we headed to the studio on a Friday night. We got to use the airbrush and even spray paint on our master pieces this time. And, as always, Alex made the night fun, engaging, and creative, and we all ended up with a great painting of happy little trees to take home and brag about. Now, can I remember everything we did? Paint, scavenger hunt, paint, view a couple short videos of Alex's work (amazing), paint, roof view of Boise and foothills, paint, and adding a layer to the splatter paint room. Bring plenty of wine because it's going to be a long, fun evening.

The studio is awesome, but it was Alex & Mandy that made the night so much fun! The hours went by so fast, w/ drying times occupied by a scavenger hunt, adding our mark to the group paintings and a beer break. The evening ended w/ Alex's surprise piano solo! Though my husband had a bit of painting experience, my daughter & I hadn't ever done a painting. We were so surprised that we could end up with a real painting that we liked enough to display! We had so much fun and even my husband said he'd want to do it again! That is the ultimate endorsement!
