Was looking around for a company to build a complex pricing system which involved multiple vendors…read moreacross the United States with their own set of rules and pricing for the Sales Team and Management teams for our company. Initially talked to a Jesse which was nice and and cordial during the initial phone conversation. Somehow I was passed off to The "Vice President Of Sales" Louis Viciedo. This is where it all went downhill. Came back with a a quote of 12K. Price was not the concern as I expected pricing to be around there for the type of project it was. The concern was the immediate "recommendation" of using drupal. When pushing the company further on why they selected drupal as the backend of choice and for examples of sites built on drupal with advanced selection complexity. I was sent a picture and a website that had nothing to do with what I was asking for. I then clarified and asked for sites even if not in my industry that they have built on drupal with advanced customizations. I got emails back with a whole bunch of chest pounding , posturing and puffing, but they never actually produced any links to previous projects or websites with what I was asking for, even though they stated they have developed projects like ours before even more complex then what I was asking for. Even stated our project was rated a 4 out of 10 because we were not spending over 350K with them. Throwing a red flag which meant that there was potential this company will produce low quality work, because we were not spending quarter/half a million dollars with them.....? Really? Essentially there was bickering back and forth with the "Vice President" Louis Viciedo of sales about how they should treat New Potential customers willing to spend money with them as long as they can prove they are worth the investment. Responses went dark when pushed. Did more research and went to glassdoor.com to find out how the "VP OF SALES" Louis Viciedo could possibly be so rude and out of touch with potential customers looking to spend a good chunk of money with them. Come to find out, it appears management seems to be a huge issue in the company. Company is a very small startup with massive issues in management based on employee reviews of the company. Needless to say I will avoid this company for all current and future projects in the future. Sad because it looked like there was potential, but instead it turned into a tit for tat just trying to find out if the company is actually capable of handling what was an "easy project" for them, I can only expect that the work and development cycle is going to suffer. Based on the Employee reviews at GlassDoor, if you are looking for an app development company I would stay away from this company completely. Functionality that was promised was never delivered and they Tried to charge me additional money to fix all of the issues that they created. Their quote was off by almost 100%. They wanted to charge me $7000 to switch from a free mailing service which I never asked for to a pay service. I started from scratch with someone else paid half the money and everything works. This company is a Wolf in sheep's clothing. There are too many problems with what they did for me to list. There are plenty of companies out there avoid this one.

What I love is that they will come and fix your computer in your own home and unless major "surgery" is needed, the problem can normally be fixed in an hour or so. Great for busy students and business professionals, who do not have the time to go wait in line and deal with the impersonal computer repair centers. Both times that I have used Friendly Computers, Marty, was my personal repair guru. He saved my life, at least academically, by getting my computer functioning again after an episode with the "blue screen of death" which nearly deleted my entire hard drive and the whole quarter-worth of work, lucky for me Marty saved the day as well as most of my hard drive! I cannot recommend them enough and hope that if you find your self in need of a computer guru that you will call Friendly Computers too, after all they are a life saver!

I had them check & remove any viruses & malware / spyware from each computer as well as clear the old one and switch to a Linux based operating system. They also extracted my data from the old laptop and put it on the new one and then upgraded the RAM and overall storage capacity of the Old Laptop. I brought it in to them on a Monday evening and by Tuesday afternoon the next day it was done. The owner Saeed and his staff are very friendly as well. Very satisfied! Much more personal, custom and timely experience than a place like Microcenter. Highly recommend!

I really wanted to like these guys, but they kept our computer for over a month (with several calls…read more- some returned in a timely way and others ignored) and when they finally diagnosed the problem as being basically unfixable - we asked them to put it back the way they found it. The head guy ended up having to fix it after one of the junior guys put it back together wrong - in doing that he found the problem and fixed it (so the diagnosis was wrong). Still got charged for the diagnosis - but offered free data transfer. We didn't take it - but we got the computer home and the battery was not working at all! There was obviously something that wasn't put back together right. More calls, no response. Update 2018: apparently under new management so I can't speak to the current owners. Never went back.

My laptop stopped turning on, so I took it to BRM to see what the problem was (on Thursday). The…read moreyoung man who helped me was very nice (although he couldn't find the receipt/ticket book and just gave me a scrap of paper with the phone number on it) and told me that he would try to call on Saturday or shortly thereafter with an update. Saturday came and went, so I called and left a voicemail on Wednesday. No response. Called and left a voicemail on Friday. No response. Called on Saturday and left another voicemail and texted the number and finally had my call returned by the owner with an update on my computer, but no price estimates or any real information. He said that they were looking for a replacement part, so I gave them a few days and then called on Wednesday (almost 2 weeks after I dropped off my computer) for an update and left a voicemail. No response...what a surprise. Finally, today (Friday), I called and left another message and texted and was contacted by the owner again, this time with some estimates, but no leads on a replacement part yet. I don't blame them for not being to find a part, but I was upset by the poor customer service and lack of communication, so I decided to pick up my laptop and take my service elsewhere. However, the owner was very understanding and did waive the diagnostic fee, which I appreciate greatly. In general, everyone who I met or spoke to was very nice, but it was nearly impossible to get in touch with anyone and there was a serious lack of communication. If the part had been available to fix my laptop, I'm sure they would have done the repairs well, but their customer communication needs some work.

It is H1B visa season about to start and I noticed that the number of IT jobs ads and calls from the Indian recruiters peak at that time. Simply they will collect as much resumes as they can from American and Canadian job hunters, reject them and apply for LMO (Labor Market Opinion) which will subsequently lead to issuance of H1B visa. The company in the background is Larsen and Toubro (L&T) is already being investigated for few scams and financial irregularities. I have seen USA clients where they are engaged in never ending projects and milking the client dry to the last drop. Their working pattern suggests that there is an Indian government agency behind all this. One way to eradicate this nuisance is to block their emails and phone number to the point they not able to contact any job hunter and force the USA companies to cancel their recruitment screening outsourcing contracts. I keep getting cold calls from these American based recruiters who seem to only hire personnel from the Indian Ocean countries. They cannot represent me very well as I have a hard time understanding them and I am sure that employers have the same issues. I never receive any call backs for any positions which they submit my resume' and I feel this is hurting my chances for employment even though i have over 18 years experience. I hereby now refuse any calls from recruiters that do not speak American English. This is ridiculous already with sprouting of these Indian Based recruiters. read more

I'm not sure how long I can take the harassment form these phony recruiting firms with random recruiter names, insisting on my resume, then saying they have already submitted enough profiles and never receive a job interview for skills I've used a decade ago. I'm not sure how they make money from this; but it seams to be some sort of data-mining scam. Do yourself a favor and not respond to these people. The old calculus jobs in computer science have been outsourced away decades ago. Go find a new career in something else or start your own computer software company... read more

This company just sends out roles as bulk spam, using some applicant tracking system called ceipal. Cut, copy paste a job description, matching at least one key word. Refer to the candidate as Hello and track your views or responses. So simple a caveman (read stupid Indian recruiter) could do it! In the negotiation process with a prospective buyer, the price issue came up. Trying to reduce my costs and therefore accept a lower price, Mark suggested that I walk away from some obligations and simply not pay some contracts. I thought that was unethical and refused. Then Mark called to say that the prospective buyers were walking away and were no longer interested. I contacted them directly and learned that they were fed up with Mark and his tactics and simply refused to deal with him any more! Buyers and I had a few meetings and discussions, resulting in an offer to purchase. I advised Mark of the process and suggested a lower commission to compensate for his lost sale and my success in closing the deal. He said he was not allowed to lower the commission, but he would share his portion to compensate me. We agreed and the sale closed. Later, after the close, I contacted Mark to request the commission refund that he had offered. He denied any agreement and refused to pay. That was dishonest. I contacted his manager, Emmet Apolinario, and he backed up Mark, refusing to help. These are not the kind of people that I would recommend to anyone. Shame on them!
