We rescheduled for a Friday- upon arrival for that location we were greeted with the worst customer service. Passport employees were rude. Said they didn't have my appointment scheduled even though i showed them my confirmation number. then the worker said she would not take us at 1245 since she leaves at 2 pm. (mind it the place was completely empty) we ended up driving to USPS in Slatington PA since we were desperate. Tina from USPS Statington was wonderful and so helpful.. she was able to get us our passports within 20 minutes.

I filed a claim (in Ohio) and they supposedly expedited the investigation. I get a call from an Ohio usps district office worker the next day after filing a complaint. They claim that there is nothing they can do because my package is not in my home state. So, basically, me filing a claim was worthless. They had no answers when I asked why my package has been sitting so long. Worthless. Convoluted. No Logic. I have another package sitting there that is supposedly going to be delivered to me tomorrow. I gotta wonder if their postal employees are swiping medications. I'm disabled and need this medication. Just seems kind of suspicious. This distribution center is one state away from me. They need to get their act together.

Had to come to PA to pick up mail, and I called prior to traveling out, thinking the same staff were still working in this location. A very rude lady named Susan answered the phone. I asked a question, and the entire conversation was terrible, she was rude, over a simple question that the other Postal clerk answered. Knowing this is not how a Postal experience should be, I called the main Post office in Bethlehem on Airport Road. A very pleasant lady explained that staff had changed sadly, and this mean lady was only temporary at the Post Office I patronize. Thankfully, Susan is only temporary. I also learned that I'm not the only one to complain about her nasty demeanor with customers. When I arrived in person to get my mail. Susan refused to want to give me my mail, even though I showed my Pennsylvania ID with my address. Susan stated, if I did not buy a key from her, she was not giving me my mail. After I drove 90 minutes to the location. Thankfully I had spoken with a manager that was over Susan, and they told her to give me my mail. Then she proceeds to attempt to give me orders as if she thought I was a child. I told Karen aka Susan exactly what she was, and I said it loud enough for her Supervisor over the phone to hear it. I understand we are in a challenging political climate. If I am polite, courteous, do not think for one minute, I will tolerate anything but polite, manner able service. Under no circumstance will I pay for disrespectful, demeaning, rude service, from anyone including Karen's.

Or you could go to the Wood Street location with it's (as my Yelp buddy Glenn T. knows all too well) shall we say colorful collection of Nazi-like staff. Or you could drive all the way out 512 to the location in the industrial park, but that's kind of a PIA. So, enter the (yo-yo) westside location as a great alternative. Friendly staff coupled with ample parking (park in the back of the building ideally) make this location to me the ideal choice for the rare times that I have to go postal in life.

I walked in with several pkgs that were already postage paid etc. All that the Post Master had to do was scan them. She was extremely inconvenienced by this. This should have been my first indicator of how things would go. I them told her that I had had a few pkgs delivered here, to pick up under General Delivery. That's when all hell broke loose. She lit into me about how they don't accept General Delivery at this location and she had no idea why I thought I could do this. She continued to rant and talk to me like I was a convict and had committed some huge crime. {If you go to USPS's website and find this location, under services available FOR THIS LOCATION, it lists General Delivery.} Again. I travel ALOT and I have never encountered a postal worker so angry and just plain mean. I spent the next several days attempting to retrieve the last pkg I had sent there. My husband then attempted to speak with her so we could get our last pkg and she then proceeded to yell at him. Needless to say she refused my mail and sent it back to sender. It would appear this woman should not be working with the public. On a side note, I went to the PO in Quakertown and the woman there told me that even if a PO doesn't normally accept General Delivery they can still hold it for you. She was even nice about it. I'll give the Quakertown PO all of my business while I'm here. However, I will never step back into the 4th St location.
