Listen, it's a post office. You don't go to the post office expecting a fine customer service experience. I mean, "going postal" is a thing (or was a thing? I don't know what youths say now). But as someone who uses the post office pretty regularly, it could be a lot worse. This is my post office and is one of the biggest in the city. During lockdown, there were eight letter carriers covering 30+ routes. There is a lot going on there. So I try to be understanding. They open super early, which I appreciate. Granted, once I went and they hadn't opened yet and when the four of us waiting knocked on the window, they told us there was no one there who knew how to work the postal scale, so they couldn't help us. But every other time, it's been fine. The service is always good for me. The clerks put up with a lot of BS so honestly I give them a lot of leeway. Be decent and friendly and you'll get the same in return. So yeah, this is my post office and they are doing their best. Props to them for that. read more

I honestly don't understand how the USPS has been running at a deficit forever. Let me begin. 1) How is it possible that not all USPS locations don't have a 24/7 self serve kiosk?!?! 2) The USPS website states that this location has one. IT DOESN'T! 3) They not only do NOT have a kiosk, it doesn't even have a place for you to deposit parcels. 4) If you use the USPS website to request a package pickup, you' re rolling the dice to see if that actually happens. 5) If you are running a small business either at a commercial property or your own home this is a must. It's your lifeline that will let you DIE! 6) You will get confirmation 1) that your request was received, but you receive confirmation that it was picked up when it wasn't. 7) What happens your residence is the mail carrier's last stop at 6pm or later? You drive to your local post office to find there is no self service kiosk even though the USPS website says there is, but you find out there not only isn't the doors are locked & the lights are off. 8) You drive to the next closest post office. The MAIN BRANCH FOR THE CITY OF CINCINNATI, only to find the exact same thing. 9) Almost the exact same thing. The doors are open because it's the main office & people actually work inside on another floor because it's THE MAIN OFFICES, but they aren't face to face employees & that's okay because the USPS website says they have a 24/7 self serve kiosk. BUT THEY DON'T. 10) No worries, they DO have a pull down drawer for you to place parcels, but you can't get a receipt. it's the MAIN OFFICE FOR THE CITY OF CINCINNATI OH, what could possibly go wrong? 11) EVERYTHING can go wrong because you've used a pre paid label that you can track. 12) Until you can't track it because it sits there for 4 business days before it begins tracking. 13) The next day you have packages that have to go out ASAP & you don't want to gamble on a package pickup you drive package to the Vine St location during business hours with your QR code. The clerks are too incompetent to do something such as that. 14) You drive back home & print your own label hoping & praying that the traffic is light & you get there before they close. 15) At this point you've lost all faith in the USPS. 16) It's a new day, business is good, but you have 5 packages to go out, but you start sweating. What can you do? Gamble on a package pickup, hope & pray again that you get a competent clerk as your anxiety skyrockets? 17) You're now running low on Zanax & you don't want your doctor to start thinking you have a problem when in actuality your only problem is the USPS. 18) It's inconvenient, but you drive across the bridge into Northern Kentucky. 19) Finally you find a post office with a 24/7 self serve kiosk, but you've been fooled before so you bring your package to a real live competent clerk who hands you a receipt. Your worries are over, but can you keep driving to another state every time you have a packages to send out? Can your small business survive this. 20) You can't worry about that right now. You have to get back home & start working again. You're feeling okay & you have a receipts in hand. You're feeling okay. 21) The next morning you start working & check the status of your outgoing packages you dropped off the day before only to find out that they have been routed to the main office in Cincinnati. 22) They all sit there for 4 more days. 23) You begin calling other USPS branches searching for answers, but no one answers the phone. 24) You drive to said other locations seeking answers, but you get none. That's unacceptable & you ask how to reach out to the Post Office General only to be told that you can't. 25) You call your doctor & ask for a refill on your anxiety medication & a referral to a good therapist because you've realized that the USPS is nothing but a racket who is driving you crazy. read more

I have had continuous problems with this post office. They mark things as delivered before they actually deliver it which becomes a issue sometimes when I need to mark a order I bought as complete. One time they marked my package (which was a pricey package) as signed and delivered when I had not received it or signed it at all. It took months to finally get it and when it did it randomly appeared in the mailroom with no explanation. I paid express for it and everything to get it on time only to get it months later, I had to open a dispute that kept getting turned down because they said it was delivered! When I went to ask where any lost packages were they said they would call me back and never did. Do not recommend, if this is the only way I can get things delivered to me then do better. read more

It was July and I had recently just finished my state, local and federal tax returns. On my way to work I stopped at this #usps branch to get the correct postage on the envelopes and mail them. There is a decent size parking lot here. I have not ever not found a parking spot but may have had to wait while someone backed out. A small vestibule area enters into a large lobby with post office boxes & a central counter. The customer service area is smaller. It has mailing supplies on the right, enough room for a short customer line, a small table and 3 windows to provide guest services. When I entered there was no one in line ahead of me. I was greeted to come forward. The employee was friendly and quickly processed my request. I was asked if I needed to track the mail. I declined. A mask was required for me and there was plexiglass at the counter, social distancing in the line and the employees also wore facemasks. Horrible, just horrible. I agree with most other viewers in this is the worst post office I have ever been too. Granted their job can no be easy or fun, the employees are very rude and in no rush at all to help customers. I only come here because I work close to this location, but try to avoid it at all cost. I usually only come when I need something urgent done, but then always find myself frustrated with the long line and one employee working. For such a busy area, they need to increase their staffing and work on their customer service skills. read more

I like this post office because it has a parking lot. The only ever reason I like it is because there's some good food around the area & it gives me an excuse to go to one of them. I know that postal works get the short end of the stick (what the hell does that expression even mean), but really!? If you don't like your job, find a different one. My most recent experience: I only need to weigh a package to know how much shipping would be. Instead of asking me about the frailness of the package, she said something like "lkeai alokefjei a oef nioc eoawn aoeifje", so she then had to repeat it slower & more clearly! You have like one thing to say, I think you could do it well, right? She was very moody too! I only wanted to send the package with the lowest rate, but then she started asking what it was, which is really none of her business. This is a very nice post office with extremely helpful employees. Located right across the street from Meatball Kitchen, there is a private lot for customers which is extremely convenient. If the lot is full, there is also tons of street parking on the street with meters. I went to this location, not my normal post office, becuase I needed an expidited package sent from a realiable lcoation and they were very helpful! Im confussed why they have 2 stars becusse every employee was calm and helpful, and the nice lady who helped me walked me through the entire process, even helping me fill out some paperwork. I understand the post office can sometimes be anoying to wait at, but the line moved quickly and they were extremely professional and upbeat. This is my new post office for sure (even though there is one a block from my house, doesnt compare)! read more

I can't agree at all with the other reviewers. 1. It's the job of USPS workers to ask certain things about packages being sent. 2. Very easy in and out per parking. Always open spots. 3. Wouldn't blame a restaurant for other customers holding up the wait staff...can't blame a post office if the customers are primarily absent-minded students. 4. It's a post office. i had a package say that it was delivered but was not at my front door. On the tracking was told it was dropped at a "mail room/apartment office" but my apartment does not have one. took me hours to finally get through and speak to someone. they put me on hold while they contacted the carrier that dropped my package off. When he took me off hold i was told that the carrier dropped my package off at a completely different building and was told that they were going to pick it up and dropped it off at my address. Was also told that a supervisor would call me with an estimate on when my package would be delivered. That was yesterday... i was not contacted by anyone regarding my package and now it's a day later in which i have spent majority of my day trying to get through to someone to talk about the issue. I have tried all day to get through to someone yet no one seems to want to answer the phones at this location. read more

Ah the post office. Luckily many of the services here can be done using a machine if there is a long line (sending a package, purchasing stamps, etc). If you do require assistance from one of the employees it can take a bit to get through the line, but once it's your turn they will take care of you. I have always received good service that met my needs I the first go through- which is a very good thing. I also have a very reliable delivery person at my address. Even when he is on vacation packages arrive reliably- and sometimes before expected. This office has good service. They have not knocked my socks off, but I am happy with the service they have provided so far. read more

This post office is conveniently located on Short Vine which is a hop, jump, and a skip away from campus, even if the turn-in for the tiny parking lot is like Platform 9 3/4, and the Muggles miss it when they're not paying attention. Despite the size of the parking lot, I've only had to wait for a spot once. Which is a godsend because you bet there's gonna be waiting involved in line. There is ALWAYS a line, one that is at least 5 people deep, no matter the time of day. And I don't know if it's that people have complicated packages they're sending, or if the clerk just is moving like molasses, but I have to reserve about 20-30 minutes every time I go. The service isn't entirely poor but they're no happy campers either. They get the job done and they're pretty good at locating missed packages, etc. They're just not going to waste their effort doing it with a smile. But hey, I'd rather you do a job well with a surly face on than smile at me sweetly while my package gets lost in the mail. This post office will get 'er done. read more

What I like about this post office: they open at 7:30 during the week and are open 9-3 on Saturday. They also have parking, which isn't always a given. That being said, it is a larger post office and there is frequently a line with too few staff working. The staff are generally pleasant and I haven't had any issues; I just wish (as I'm sure they do) that more were working there so things could move more quickly. read more

I have been going here for sometime and typically have a good experience but today was not a good one. They were busy, about 9/10 people in line had improperly filled something out or didn't understand how the usps works so I'm sure Staff was a bit overwhelmed (1 clerk was present). I asked to ship a 5.2oz small bubble envelop which is a standard 3.50$ as stated on the board above the register. I was told "3.75$" was the total. I step back, double check the board, and reply "your sign states a small envelope under 13oz is 3.50$". The clerk states that the board is likely old (which is not true considering shipping was 3$ flat less than 4 months ago) and told me "I don't set the prices". I explained that I didn't appreciate the false advertisement and was forced to pay whatever was on the screen. Point being, know what you are paying for when you walk In. Staff does not seem to care or know the actual prices and although it was only 25 cents, I paid 3.50 per package only last week and would appreciate it if someone who doesn't know an answer doesn't resort to passive aggressive behavior instead of simply asking a manager. read more

ahhhh....the corryville post office...where hopes and dreams go to die. at our last apartment, the post office wouldn't leave packages and I couldn't hear them knock on the door. all packages were then routed to the corryville post office. so i went at LEAST once a week. i would never go of my own free will. the building itself is in an annoying confusing area around campus. it's a dingy place that hasn't been updated. it basically acts like a harry potter dementor, feeding off the happiness of others and sucking out your life force. it's a busy post office, with a constant line and no automated postal center. it's also filled with stupid students that never bring the right stuff with them. and then the international students...ugh...always trying to send customs banned things to random asian countries. the employees have all checked out long ago. not that USPS ever has a great reputation, but these employees are the worst. they aren't particularly mean or rude. just spacey eyed and move at a snail's pace. there are ALWAYS other choices in the area for a post office. please, avoid suicidal thoughts by seeking out another post office. read more

This is the worst post office in all of America. Not only are they rude and negligent with packages, but they are argumentative and will scream at you as if they are not a government working representative. I absolutely hate this place so much, we are thinking of moving to a whole other district so we won't have to continue going through this. I made an appt for my daughter to get her passport renewed. Yolanda, at the counter, said she was the person who did the passport appointments. We had all of our documents including my daughters old passport to turn in for renewal. First stumbling block with Yolanda the passport specialist was she didn't believe the old passport picture was my daughter. She questioned it and said "is this you?" My daughter was 15 in the picture and is now 19. A lot can change but not that much. After she made my daughter swear it was her, Yolanda made me photocopy the passport including the front cover and she said I need to send in the copies of the passport along with her birth certificate. I told her I thought we had to turn in the old passport with the application and they would send a new passport and return the old one with a hole punched in it. She refused to send it the old passport. Yolanda was wrong. Yesterday in the mail(3 weeks later) I get a letter and an envelope saying we have to turn in the old passport. Shouldn't the person supposedly designated as the passport specialist (Yolanda) know you have to turn in your old passport. This was very frustrating. I don't think she meant to purposely delay us getting a new passport, I think she's just incompetent. Do not go her to renew your passport- it might get delayed even longer if you do- like mine did! This post office should simply close, for eight years I have consistently had the worst service I ever had of the many different cities I've lived in! They can't seem to stop or restart held mail service on the scheduled dates, the postal carriers are unable to drive from the street mail box to the house to actually see if anyone is home, before leaving a pink slip, this has happened so many times I've lost count! If I could rate it 0 stars I would. This post office should be taken off the map entirely and a new one should be built with people who can actually do their job. Every single time I have gone to the post office I had to wait at least 30 minutes...no exaggeration. I am actually writing this review while on hold, because I have been on hold for 35 minutes and counting, and because they messed up yet another delivery. This is the 3rd time I have been unable to get my package on time. Get this...I was unable to open the locker that my package was in because the postman left the wrong key. As in...the key does not open the lock. How is this even possible? I was assured that it would be delivered the next day and guess what? It's the next day and I still have not received my package as promised. Now I am on hold to see what happened. Not sure if this is incompetence or just lack of effort but I would do anything not to have to use this post office. I really hope someone reads this and actually does something about the quality of work NOT happening at this post office. read more

Worst post office ever. I checked the website to make sure they have international money orders. When I arrive, there's a long line. Behind the counter we have three people: one is actually helping a customer, one is trying to figure out how to help a customer, and one is standing at a station doing absolutely nothing. After ten minutes, it's finally my turn. I ask for an international money order. I get two blank stares from the two people doing work. The person doing nothing says that only one person who works there "has them," and she will be back "in a minute." While waiting for the person who will return "in a minute," I see a man with an Indian accent trying to send a letter via registered mail - to someone in the USA. One of the people behind the counter asks another, "Do I need a customs form for this?" Duh. Twenty minutes and several other anecdotes that would be funny under different circumstances later, the person hasn't returned. Since i actually have a life, I leave without what I came for. It's no wonder the postal "service" (using the term very loosely) is hemorrhaging money: they hire totally incompetent people who don't know how to do anything besides sell postage stamps and are rude to customers who expect them to, well, actually know how to do their jobs. On top of that, the lobby looks as if it hasn't been cleaned in ten years, and the back area where the post office boxes are looks as if it hasn't been cleaned in twenty years. Stay as far away from this location as you possibly can - unless you have two hours to kill and need a good laugh at how stupid people can be. read more
