Second time here in the last week at the Bexley branch. First time there was no line and one postal worker. My wait went fairly fast. Three days later I went back and there were 6 people in line and one cashier. Need less to say the line moved slow. A worker came out from the back and asked if anyone had any questions but couldn't help with transactions. Few minutes later a 2nd cashier came out and opened her line but the first one closed her. It was after 2pm so maybe they were taking lunch? Apparently there is a shortage of workers because there is a need for two people working out front. I probably spent at least 25minutes until I left

The PO does it's job... sends my packages, and sells me stamps…read more Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. They seem annoyed anytime you need help, or to purchase stamps. Hint: a smile goes a long way

I am so hurt by the way I was treated this afternoon. I walked in the post office 5 minutes before…read morethey closed to drop off my packages that I already had labeled. I only needed to drop them off at the counter which would have taken all of 30 seconds. I walked in and went to open the divider which was already shut (which didn't seem strange since the were about to close) and the guy at the counter yells at me (in front of everyone) YOU BETTER NOT TOUCH MY DOOR. Not only was I embarrassed, I was so hurt that he would speak to me in a such manner. I didn't not touch the door / diver and I asked three times if could drop my boxes off at the counter. I was ignored each time by both staffers. He finally asked if I already paid for postage and I said yes, to which he finally gave me permission to come in (mind you the post office is not yet close) I go in and tell both staffer that I understand they are probably ready to leave, but it's wrong to treat customers so poorly. The woman at the desk then goes to tell me I better be happy he gave me permission to come in. At this point I knew I was going to contact whoever was over this particular post office so I asked for their names. She didn't give them which I understand, but goes to tell me "in a matter of fact" tone that I can speak to the manager Stephany. Now I'm thinking If your so eager for me to speak to Stephany, Stephany's work ethic is probably just as poor as yours. And I was right. She completely dismissed my complaints and defended her staff rude behavior. As I'm leaving the guy (who yelled at me) sarcastically tells me to have a good day. I explained to him how hurt I was by how he treated me, and after go back and forth he did apologize which I do appreciate. But I couldn't not believe I was treated so terribly and then lied on when told Stephanie I pretty much tried to "break in" again, the post office still is not closed. The main door was unlocked, they only had the diver shut. I will continue to go to my normal post office and hope I never have to step foot in this one, and if I do I hope I don't have to see any of the three people who were there working today. It's never okay to yell, belittle and embarrass someone who did absolutely nothing wrong.

It was holiday time and I expected a crowd (trying to stand 6' apart with our masks on). The line…read moreto the counter was LONG. And, of course, there was only one person working. I had planned ahead to use the self-serve machine and brought everything I needed to package my gifts. I found the priority envelope/boxes, made sure no one else was standing in line for the machine (there was no one else) and stood 6+' away from the lady currently using it. I was next in line. BOOYAH! But, when the lady finished the transaction she was working on, she put the envelope on top of the pile she had to the bottom, and started on the next one. She proceeded to individually type in the addresses and figure postage for each envelope in the pile. The envelopes were generally not bigger than a standard size piece of mail - requiring a standard stamp. but then I realized the lady possibly for foreign born or descended and surmised she was sending international mail. Regardless, I could not believe she had to gall to stand there and dominate the machine while others waited (a person or 2 had queued up behind me). I started to wonder if I would have been better of getting in the other line. At least IT WAS MOVING. At some point, the lady realized she was holding up the line that had formed. She made a mistake and cursed - and moved on to the next envelope. After what seemed like way too long (15 minutes+), she totalled out her purchases and began to move away from the machine. BUT - she then dropped everything on the floor and took forever to pick things up. She finally vacated the machine and I had room to step up and quickly work through my ONE transaction. I was done in the less than 3 minutes. She had moved to the end of the line and was about ready to drop everything again. I had a wonderful plan to get in and out quickly. BUT I did not foresee this lady monopolizing the self-serve machine. I survived that little frustration. But now I'm wondering whatever happened to my package. It has yet to be acknowledged by the recipient - so I'm thinking it has not arrived yet. That would only be 6 days late (and counting) . . .

The facility is clean and in good shape, fairly large for a neighborhood post office, plenty of parking, big self-serve areas inside. Two people at the three counters today, I only waited a few minutes, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pickup process was fairly easy. Got a note in the mail explaining what was coming, where it was from, and the options. Had to show ID and sign, and verify address, etc. As for overall service, it has had its ups and downs but mainly been good. We signed up for emails telling us what's coming, and they are usually accurate. A year or two ago we had a long stretch when they were not- we wouldn't get mail for several days then got everything they saved up, apparently. But before that, and for the last year or so, the emails have been pretty accurate and deliveries come almost every day. I think they were shortstaffed and went through a lot of carriers. When we moved in it was the same person for years, and here lately it's the same guy. I think that helps, them and us.

The rude lady in charge lied said she'd use her personal car drive to our address and help us locate our mail and I waited almost an hour by that mail box she never showed up . I have no idea what I'm supposed to do about my mail if I'll ever get my mail back or not . All I know is this post office is ghetto and they don't respect the people coming in there looking for mail . And I have no choice but to deal with coming here every time my mail missing . The rude lady that works there also, gas lights you she will lie and say people who have worked there never worked there . They don't train these mail carriers properly at all . Every time you expect a package you better pray it gets there . Only person who can make sure you get your mail is Jesus Christ because they don't care about you or your mail . I'm a keep praying and hoping I get my mail . This is causing my extreme anxiety and stress and finally loss dealing with this post office .
