Mail not picked up from mail box outside postoffice last PM. Stuffed and packed box at 6AM today. Mail wet att top of large blue box !

Worst service they made a mistake and sent my package to the IRS instead of the address I provided it. I went to the office and told them about fix the problem and they said they cannot do anything, they only offered me intercept the package and pay again for their stupid mistake. Privatize mail service and close all post offices. Was given two options to do a change of address: online or by phone. Neither way worked. After being routed through a maze of steps, I was asked for a confirmation code. What code? Don't have a code, so off to the post office I go. Completed the form but had to show picture identification, which you cannot do except in person. read more

This has to be one of the most pleasant post offices I've been in. Nothing really terrible jumps out at me from past visits. The modern building is probably the most appealing aspect, with lots of glass that lets light in. Parking isn't a problem, and there are entrances on both Opelika Road and Ross Street. Staff are typically cordial and efficient. The self-service kiosk comes in handy if you need to mail something after hours. The only real negative is long lines and crowds during the holiday season and other peak times but that can be said of pretty much any post office. read more

Slowest service in any Post Office I do business. If understaffed, ADD PERSONNEL. I ship PREPAID PRIORITY PARCELS. Add a SELF SERVICE KIOSK for PREPAID PARCELS. Have a scanner to scan the labels as they go in the Dropbox. A scale could confirm the package and it's weight. The technology is available! USE IT! read more

It's Pak mail for me from here on out. I've twice attempted to mail some packages at this post office and both times in the past week, the line has spilled out into the lobby. Today I looked through the door and there was no one at the counter. Walked back to my car, headed straight to Pak Mail. Auburn, you should be able to do better than this. I have been against privatizing the US mail, but thanks to this Auburn post office, I am beginning to rethink that. read more

This is the worst PO I have ever been to!!!!! I went in to fill out a change of address form and personally handed to the lady behind the counter.... I have been receiving mail at both my old and new address which are in different cities!!! I asked my new mailman what should I do and he said I should go back to the same PO and tell them the problem and if they don't help me call 1-800-ASK-USPS and file a formal complaint- I went back and they told me there was nothing they could do that I would have to check both boxes every day for 2 weeks I said that is absolutely crazy they are i different cities so I left and called the number and made a formal complaint- they told me I will be called back within 2 business days.... We shall see- terrible terrible service- stay away!!!! read more

Worst post office. They continue to NOT answer calls. Awhile back I lost a package and they wouldn't help me find it. Come to find out, the mail delivery driver dropped it off at the office of my neighborhood (which has a sign on the door that no packages can be dropped off there) and someone decided to take it home for themselves. so my package that was worth over $100.. gone. Poof. Now, I have a package that was supposed to be delivered days ago on hold at the office "per handlers request." So, I call and call and call again to figure out why the fuck they're holding my HAIR CONDITIONER, and they don't answer. I'm in class until 4-4:30 most days and don't have time to get to the office. This place makes me want to go insane. read more

I'd give 0 Stars if it were an option. This post office SUCKS. Constantly have a line out the door. You can never simply call to have a question answered. If your package is lost or not delivered good luck! They can't answer a single question of where it may be even though it scanned onto one of their delivery trucks. read more

Sometimes mail doesn't arrive on days it's supposed to - even when I have packages that are scheduled to arrive/at post office for delivery.

The only reason why I'm giving a star is because it's the only way you can post. The mail carrier they have on our route needs to be replaced he/she are very slow we use to get our mail around 11:30 or 12 now it's after 5 when you have important things coming it's on hold because of the carrier. USPS has gotten very sloppy. read more
