I want to say first thing that there are some really good people at United who are working hard in non management positions. I bought some frozen food, and due to my disability could not see the expiration date. It was circa 2023 which means it was sitting on the shelf about a year past expiration date. I bought it back to customer service and asked to speak to the manager who looked like she was highly upset that she was disturbed. The DISTURBING fact is that I had to mention that I was not offered an apology. The customer service employee then offered an apology the manager NEVER DID. I encourage everyone to be highly aware of the expiration date on any item purchased at this store and if necessary contract Health officials as the manager does not appear to be concerned about this issue read more

The self checkout is great though, because there is enough space and systems to get people completed quickly. It's pretty hit or miss how the staff will be. They treat you like a criminal at the door leaving: they check your receipt. Depending on how you look, they go above and beyond and will even go through your bags versus just checking the large items. If you can't use self checkout, make sure you don't take the checker's word on your amount of bags. Twice now, I was told I didn't have another bag and found several items were left at the store (and calling doesn't do any good to recover the paid-for items). They seem to always be stocking. Even before the COVID crap. Sometimes it is quite a pain to get down the aisles. Generally though, the stockers are super friendly and will help you navigate around them. This location is what it is. I don't expect much from Walmart anyway, but this location has the bar set even lower.

If we can't park to walk in then I will not be giving my business to you. My sales tax will not be given to your community. Shame on you Walmart for, your whole business revolves around people just like my husband. I will go out of my way to not shop here no matter where I am across the country if at all it can be avoided. I hope one day a truck will not deliver a load just because of your sign " absolutely no trucks parking at any time" I know your already extremely low on drivers because your outsourcing your loads. However, our selections were cooked fresh-to-order (which took a bit long to arrive) and were a cut above typical fast food. I ordered a mushroom-and-Swiss burger with all the fixings and deep-fried cheese curls (mostly to find out what they are!), while my husband got a pulled pork sandwich and fries. Both meals were very tasty. We REALLY also wanted some of their creamy frozen custard but we were too full. Not to worry, we got it to go & put it in our RV's mini-freezer. This was truly a special treat for us later on. Excellent Butter Pecan! We didn't have any kids with us but they had adorable car-shaped containers for their kid's meals. We also appreciated the friendly locals who were very friendly with us. Breaking weather warnings were on the screen of the television in the restaurant -- but we had no clue where the affected areas were in relation to where we were in Elk City. They reassured us that we were out of the danger zone for tornadoes but that we might experience high winds. For any Harvest Host RVers out there, 66 ToGo is a participating host. The sites are level and plentiful, and the host was quick to confirm our reservation.
