They had agreed to help us dismiss a traffic ticket, go to court, etc - and we paid them to do all that. They never showed up in court (and failed to tell us that), so our ticket was sent to a collection agency. On top of paying $800 to these people, we now have to pay the ticket PLUS more to the collection agency. As mentioned in the previous review it's a hassle getting a hold of Sam. After numerous attempts I had no response from them at all. After awhile he reached out to me letting me know that he was going to review my file to get the file resolved and get it over with. Finally I had some hope... this was well over 2 months ago and yet I have no update at all. After numerous attempts trying to get a update I have not heard back from him. Seriously the worse company I've ever dealt with in terms of communication. There's literally zero. You have to call, text, and/or email to get results. Then finally tells me I lost because the officer has enough evidence. I was prepared for the worse so I ask about the traffic school that I was told was included with the rate. I sign up and it wasn't included. I go to the court website to pay my fee and it says case is closed. I call and they said my case was dismissed and I don't need traffic school. I'm happy they won my case but the commination is absolutely terrible. They even gave me the wrong outcome at the end of me having to blow up their phone. This was my first time outsourcing my traffic ticket needs to a 3rd party. Without intentionally sounding like a total jackass, I've had my fair share of traffic tickets, so my expectation (knowing the process) was that this was a simple case to resolution in my favor. I outsourced because I live 6 hours away from Van Nuys and paying for a hotel + car rental + gas + food would be far more expensive to do. I am giving this place 5 stars because not only were they professional throughout this process by keeping me informed and up to speed, and not only because they were in fact able to get my case dismissed and the hold on my license removed.. but because they helped me four months later (with documentation I needed for my insurance carrier) after they have already received my payment & closed my case as if I was still their customer & that to me speaks volumes. I don't normally write bad reviews about businesses unless the service was unbelievable horrible. I was initially referred to Sam from a family member. I paid Sam for the cost of fighting my ticket along with the cost of the ticket (incase we lost and I had to pay). Sam lost the case, which I can accept, but Sam was unresponsive to all calls after that. It almost felt like I should be lucky for what he is doing for me. After months of calling him for an update, I reached out to the courthouse to get an update myself. To my surprise, I find out that the ticket hadn't been paid. At this point I was shocked, angry, and on a mission to confront Sam. I attempted to get a hold of Sam with multiple calls to the office for an entire week, text messages, and emails. After a week went by, I decided to go to his office and ask for my money. To my surprise, Sam no longer worked there. I was told that he used to sub-lease and office, but he left 2 months prior. I ended up paying the $250 fee for the ticket so that I don't have any issues with my record. I felt compelled to leave this review to warn others that Sam is a crook.
