I inquired about clearing a traffic ticket (it's simply doing a rolling stop). I did not end up using their service. Here's why: YOU PAY MORE THAN THE TICKET AND TRAFFIC SCHOOL COMBINED. The reason why I was going to them in the first place was to save money. The guy I had spoken with kept convincing me that by going to them, I won't have any record on my file once the case was dismissed. The guy said that my insurance premium would increase due to the dismissed traffic ticket. I understand that there's always going to be a record that there was a traffic ticket and that it was dismissed, but it should not affect your insurance if you go to traffic school to keep the points off your license. I know friends who have gone to traffic school and their insurances have no idea they have a ticket. You pay them I think ~$150 for their service then you have to send the bail money ($234 for mine). If they win the case, the court refunds the money and they get to keep that money. Traffic school is around $60, so you'll be paying more if you use them. I used a different service (I paid $99). When my case was dismissed, I got my own refund, so I only spent $99 as opposed to almost $400. If you only have a simple traffic ticket, just go somewhere else or just pay the fee and go to traffic school. If you did some pretty big stuff that you really need to fork that money out, then use them I guess. read more
