The first thing you notice about this church is that it is very humbly decorated with blank brick walls. The statues depicting the Holy Family show Mary as a humbly dressed woman holding her toddler son whose hands are outstretched toward you as though he wants you to hold him. Joseph is depicted as a carpenter sawing a tree stump. The altar is not ornate in the least with a simple depiction of the Last Supper on the face. The FOCAL POINT of this church is a soaring, life-sized crucifix that is hoisted about 20 feet above the heads of the humble men who celebrate the Eucharistic feast on the altar every day. And at the end of every Mass, we all pray our Parish Prayer together before exiting. Today, in Christ, I humbly invite you to come and join us!
