I was going through some personal struggles and the catholic church wasn't fulfilling my spiritual needs and my friend invited me to join her at MCC. My very first time there I felt so welcomed. The passion from the worship team (music and singers) hooked me as well as the warm smiles and engagement from others if I welcomed it. And I did. I needed all the support I could get. A welcome table with more info is present every Sunday, a hospitality team to provide coffee and tea/water. Children's services as well as youth group for all ages. And you can tell everyone who attends wants to be there. My husband and children joined shortly after me and we call MCC our home away from home several years later. Also-check out all the events and fun groups they have too on their websites! Seriously so many. We are big fans of their summer VBS camp!

Over a short period of time, The Quest merged with the other church; and I've seen a lot of changes in the congregation, but the pastor has remained the same; he teaches well, gives a good message week after week. The church family is a good one, although I rarely socialize with many people outside of church events, the few I am friends with are all good people. If you want a church that makes you feel guilty and beat up, and like every single thought you have is evil, this is NOT the church for you. If you want the good news taught, where you're accepted as you are (truly accepted AS YOU ARE) then The Quest is for you!! There is a program for children, as well as teens, and it's an active church, they play softball, they hike, bike, have movie night, etc. As a member you get great counseling from the pastor when needed. Truly, a good church. There's nothing worse than going to church and falling asleep, or watching people swing from the roof - or being told how awful you are; so, if that's what you want, don't go to The Quest, because that's not what you're going to get.
