Thats where we met Jeff he came and greet us he genuinely show interest in us going there. My children participated in the vbs Vacation Bible Schoolthat this church facilitated. The vbs was amazing, the children's director was very friendly, kind, personable, approachable and accomodating of our needs. She took the initiative and worked hard to make everyone felt as welcome and comfortable as only possible. There was nothing that we needed and weren't offered. They let the love of Christ through the services that they kindly offer to the children and families in the community. I'm grateful for their vbs and will recommend it to everyone! read more

I first came to this church back in 2016 (I think)! from a lifelong up bringing plus schooling- in private Catholic Churches. I was going through some personal struggles and the catholic church wasn't fulfilling my spiritual needs and my friend invited me to join her at MCC. My very first time there I felt so welcomed. The passion from the worship team (music and singers) hooked me as well as the warm smiles and engagement from others if I welcomed it. And I did. I needed all the support I could get. A welcome table with more info is present every Sunday, a hospitality team to provide coffee and tea/water. Children's services as well as youth group for all ages. And you can tell everyone who attends wants to be there. My husband and children joined shortly after me and we call MCC our home away from home several years later. Also-check out all the events and fun groups they have too on their websites! Seriously so many. We are big fans of their summer VBS camp! read more

I've been to most every church in Marin, and I'm grateful I've finally landed at MCC. It's a place where my faith and spiritual intellect grow together, and I've felt my relationship with Christ deepen in ways I never imagined. What sets this church apart is the genuine love and support from the pastors, prayer team and its members. Whether I've struggled with health or emotional challenges, they have been there for me with overwhelming, heartfelt care. The love here is genuine and transformative. There are programs here for everyone to connect with one another. I only wish I had known about MCC when my adult children were growing up; the programs for kids and young adults are outstanding. I'm so grateful for MCC! God is in this place. read more

I would be wary of this church. They (the pastors and volunteers who run the church) proclaim to be people of God, do things in God's name and pretend to be oh-so-friendly. They hook you in, make you want to belong, and the moment you are in need of some help, no matter how little, they turn their backs on you, as if your connection with them, the people, is worth nothing. You end up disappointed and hurt. So much for kindness and gratitude. read more

I reached out to MCC during Summer 2021 when I moved to Marin County in an effort to find community. Pastor Courtney connected with me and then connected me with a member of the church who could help me feel comfortable coming to church again. This didn't work out very well as I was far too depressed to stay connected. In late 2022 I had my first of four surgeries and I reached out to Pastor Courtney again. She turned me down when I was asking for help in my greatest time of need. I'll never forget how she responded to my email. Other church communities turned me down as well. I have still not been able to find any community within Marin County and I feel very sad about this. I'm not blaming anyone but myself, however, I'm very hurt and disappointed by MCC because really, I wasn't asking very much. I was given the line about the holidays in November and December being very busy and there was no one who would be able to give me a ride to physical therapy... so Uber it was. I still have zero friends locally. read more

Fabulous. This is a devoted, very compelling group of pastors, disguised as youth ministers, musicians, and great story-tellers who are extraordinarily gifted in listening, engaging and leading. The pastors I have met are incredible individuals, role models, leaders. The worship service is very welcoming, enjoyable, yet, insightful and may, at times, inevitably tug at your soul. Speaking for myself only, the message is so effective at dragging this reluctant and commitment-fobic human to improve my understanding of our Savior and the remarkable path that has been paved for me, if only I would choose to engage and develop a better understanding. They have my hears, and now they have my heart. If your not sure, you'll find it refreshing that they don't ask you to believe first. They want to engage you, listen and hear you and simply join them. Believing comes later, in their eyes. How refreshing for those that are not 'sure.' This is a wonderful place to call home. The facility, the people and their open hearts is a breath of fresh air in pretentious Marin. The children's programming is a joy. Volunteer there and watch the kids engage with crafts, song, exercises and play. Our child does not want to leave. Come for the Word, rock with the band, engage with a fantastic body of people. I was visiting from Los Angeles and decided to Yelp a local church. I read a few reviews about MCC and was sold. We went to the 9:00 service on 9/15...the last Sunday that Pastor Ben preached his last sermon before taking a few weeks off. Let me say that this was an amazing sermon and I'm honored that I had the chance to see this man preach! Such a great atmosphere...totally could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in this place. We moved up to Marin from SF and decided we'd go to 10 churches to see which was the best fit. First on the list: Marin Covenant. We felt so at home, we just kept going week after week. Lots of great stuff for kids, middle schoolers and high schoolers. Lots of intellectual rigor behind the sermons. And lots of opportunities to be of service in the community. We first came to this church when I was pregnant with my third baby so having a Christ-centered church that had an excellent children and family ministry was important. We also wanted a place that my husband and I felt a sense of community. Although we live in northern Novato (20 minute drive from church), we have met so many wonderful families that live nearby. We now serve on the volunteer team at Sunday school and VBS and have loved deepening our relationship with the amazing pastors and leadership team. read more

For me, churches need to have a couple of things going for them to make me want to attend more than once. MCC is that church, a church for today's believer and/or seeker. The preaching staff makes sermons relevant, not judgmental; fun, not funny; informative, not preachy. They make the bible real and accessible and I continue to learn and have my thinking challenged. There are many different places for one to 'plug in' for deeper relationships. They have a very active and viable youth program; great music and friendly people. They just completed a major renovation. This is a very sincere and involved church. Both pastors are very good but my favorite is Jeff. He's very articulate, intelligent, and humorous. Great worship band. The pastors and attendees are personable and welcoming. Excellent children's and student ministries. The 10:45 worship gathering fills up, so get there a couple of minutes early to be able to sit where you want. They have programs for people who are simply wondering, "Is there more to life than this?" and aren't sure that God even exists. Fill out a card at the "Have-We-Met?" table and you'll get an invitation to a bar-b-que at one of the pastors' houses. If you are spiritually attuned, you'll probably have a sense of peace or the presence of the Holy Spirit. read more

My favorite church in Marin! We moved from Southern California when our boys were little and we were looking for a solid biblically based, Christ centered church with a great children's program. We visited a number of churches and found our home at MCC. That was ten years ago! Now our kids are in the middle school and high school programs, including the awesome youth group on Wednesday nights. The pastors are the real deal. They are walking the walk. I have been going to this church for almost a year. I really enjoy going it's fun. I just realized few weeks ago its a Catholic church I didn't know. I have been going to Catholic church all my life and none have been like this. This church isn't boring like most. I want to go and sing every Sunday. I have gone to a few events and they have been fun as well. The pastor with the white hair is very nice and makes his way around to talks with everyone. The other pastor with dark brown hair is very nice as well. The church is very welcoming. read more
