The staff at the store was very friendly and helpful. He told me that it is a family business that his father started 20 years ago and all the silk products were made locally in their workshop. Also the back room of the store showed some old machines and accessories for silk weaving that was good to check out. It is a good place to get local gifts.

I felt like we were the only ones in the market, very quiet and half the stalls were closed and many of them were covered with graffiti. I wasn't looking but not sure if they have high end stuff here but I guess that's what Paris is for. If I wasn't here on business, I think I would have enjoyed shopping here and possibly purchased a suitcase to take stuff home. So when I find a vintage store or antique shop that excites me, I have to share. This place is incredible! Such an array of vintage and antique items that to me would make for a much better souvenir than any trinket you could buy. As a Tiki lover, I found several old unused bottle labels for rum that I bought to frame and hang above my home bar. But they have everything from small items for a Euro or two, to large, antique advertising, bottles, dishes, and more. Absolutely loved this place and was so glad to have stumbled upon it!

They had a decent selection, considering it's kinda like a Macy's or something like that in the US. The cool thing is that when I was there (end of January) they were having the mandated sales in all the stores including Printemps. I got some nice stuff for 50% off!!!! He went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. I am so glad that we stopped in and met him. He took such great care of us each time that we came. The other associates were also very friendly at this location as well. He helped me find the most amazing Birkin bag here. I will definitely be back here to visit next time I am in Europe. Even my husband who hates shopping so much was so impressed that he promises he will be back to visit Nuerjiang to buy me more bags (very rare rare occurrence for him to willing go shopping).

There's everything from old maps, to street scenes, repoductions of famous paintings, animals, flowers, nudes, contemporary prints, and virtually any kind of art you can think of. Prices seem very reasonable - I got an signed/numbered lithograph from the 50's for 125 euros, and a beautiful, century-old engraving of a nude playing the violin for 10 euros. I could have looked forever, and can't wait to come back! The staff was very helpful, and packed up my purchases in cardboard to protect them during my journey.

I stopped into this LV after I had done way too much shopping in Lyon and needed another travel…read morebag. It wasn't that busy but every employee that I could see was with someone. I waited a few minutes and looked around while waiting for someone to talk to me. Julien was the employee that ended up helping me and we had so much fun together! He got me the bag that I wanted, looked up the prices in US dollars too so I could see how they compared to euros. He also gave me the "tax free" forms that would ensure that I would be able to get money back from my purchase. The others stores that I had shopped at didn't tell me about this, I assume out of laziness, so I really appreciated that. Julien was a total sweetie and I wish the SAs at my local LV were half as great as he was. Will definitely return if and when I am ever in Lyon.

Not that…read moreI shop here a lot, or at all, but if I am there 15 minutes before closing time and the gates are halfway down - and some bouncer look-alike guy tells me through the gate that there is a problem with the cashier's system, and that's why they are closed for a bit (conveniently until they close at 7:00 p.m. anyway), while I was ready to put down a ridiculous amount of money for an ugly sack of a purse (NOT FOR ME - for a colleague who lives somewhere where it's even more expensive), then I am NOT HAPPY! Having worked in a luxury environment myself for a long time, there are ways to deal with it, i.e. have bouncer-guy stand outside - offer alternative - take a phone number - whatever. I live next door, it's no big deal, but this was Walmart service at a LV store - wait, Walmart has nice greeters outside... Grrrrrrr - thanks for making me fight my way through traffic!

There are reprints and commercial posters for browsing in the shop. So at first I was disappointed. Turns out that you need to ask to see the vintage posters...there are alphabetical lists and photos of all vintage posters on the PC at the back counter, and each one that I requested was brought out and unfolded for me to examine. My sole purchase was an original release "Some Like It Hot" poster with art by Grinsson - nice surprise find in this little shop! Poster was packed nicely for taking back home. Lots of other things for sale, but honestly I was focused on the posters. This is a "must visit" for old cinema poster buffs visiting Lyon!
