This place is a gem, they have an assortment of motorcycles to rent. The staff was super helpful and friendly. She had a ton of suggestions for us to take day trips on the bike. The bike was in great condition and the pricing was very reasonable. We got a comfortable bike that could hold all of our belongings for day trips. We will definitely come back and rent again when we are in the area. It is quite a car ride to get here from downtown Lyon but it is totally worth it! Having the motorcycle was completely worth it in Europe! Gloves and helmets are required. We brought our own helmets and gloves but I believe they sell gloves and offer helmets for rent. They also supply you with a lock and safety vest if you desire. We used the lock but never stopped on the side of the highway to need the safety vests. I would recommend bringing your own phone mount for the bike. They offered one but it didn't fit our phones and wasn't very usable. read more

It is truly hard to imagine a more enjoyable motorcycling environment than what I found - beautiful, curvy mountain roads in every direction. Traffic was light. The weather was perfect. I rode for about eight hours each day and I feel like every portion was a thrill. It's hard to pick which part was the best - so many contenders! It's motorcycle heaven. I was really impressed with Mike's service. Originally I had planned to merely rent a bike (the BMW F800 GT) and do a self-guided tour, but I am so thankful that Mike showed me around. I am sure I wouldn't have been nearly as ambitious without his knowledge of the area - and that made all the difference. He brought the bike out to my hotel and also helped me get to the bus station on my way out. He really went the extra mile in every way to make sure my trip was smooth. The bike was in great shape and was fun to ride. I also rented a jacket and helmet, which was really nice to be able to do instead of having to pack my own. My only regret is that I didn't have more time to stay! The next time I visit Grenoble I will definitely be contacting M2 once again.
