This office is just a joke, I emailed and called them over and over but they didn't respond. It's really hard to talk to the right person.

While looking for another fun option for the extra guests, I reached out to Capital Tuk Tuk. They were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and willing to help on short notice. I was really impressed with how friendly and helpful their team was throughout the process. It's refreshing to find a company that genuinely wants to help, and I'll definitely keep them in mind for future events. Plus what a fun and unique way to get around Sacramento!

We took a Capital Tuk-Tuk ride on Friday night. What a fun way to kick off our weekend…read more Tuk-Tuks are three wheeled, motorized vehicles commonly found in Southeast Asia. They are super convenient to pop in and out of the Tuk-Tuk because there's no doors or windows. (Of course you need to put your seat belts on.) The Tuk-Tuk size is smaller than a car and quick bursts of speed make the ride exciting, especially when motorcycles zooming by us when we were crossing the Tower Bridge. But the ride is also relaxing, when the winds blowing in our faces . The Tuk-Tuk has a capacity to carry 6 people. So it's very roomy for the four of us. Manushi was our Murals Sacramento tour guide and she was amazing. We saw so many murals we would not noticed before. My daughter said that she walked many times around the building where Johnny Cash mural is located and ate dumplings at one end of the said building. But she never noticed the Johnny Cash mural before. After Manushi pointed out the first few murals to us, then we started to pay attention to the areas around us and started to notice all those beautiful murals. And those different styles of painting on those electrical boxes! Manushi shared with us the history of some of the murals or names of some of the famous people featured. She also told us about her experiences when she encountered some of the artists either as a tourist on her Tuk-Tuk or in the midst of their paintings. I appreciated those stories and was feeling the moments of her excitements. We learned a lot and laughed a lot during the tour. It's a fun and informative tour, great way to see downtown/ midtown and experience the full breath of the city for the locals and visitors alike. It helped us to exploring the city and seeing the local businesses particularly the restaurants and cultural events such as the Wide Open Walls, an annual festival that brings together local, national, and international artists to paint large-scale public art. We all felt like the tour reignited our desire to do more arts!! We ended the tour with ice cream treats at LILUTLANTS, Gourmet Hawaiian Shave Ice. Cherry on top.

Parking does require payment, but that's more of a downtown Sacramento situation than a hotel policy. There's plenty of parking available, and it's easy to handle through the QR code scan and app payment system. The room was comfortable and clean, and the lobby bar and restaurant were a nice surprise after a long day of sessions. One standout detail was the service, the staff was consistently friendly and attentive without feeling overbearing. Food and drinks at the hotel restaurant are a bit overpriced, but that's fairly standard for hotels in this kind of location. The area also felt safe and calm, since it's surrounded by hospital buildings and the UC Davis extension campus. Overall, it's a solid option if you're visiting for work, conferences, or anything in the nearby medical district.

Our King room was quite spacious, perfectly clean, and there were LOTs of outlets/charging ports throughout our room. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were just right. There is no complimentary breakfast, but there is a Starbucks Bistro onsite with lots of great options. They serve breakfast all day, plus lunch and dinner and have a decent wine list. The prices are reasonable, and you can't beat the convenience. The thing that stood out the most at this Courtyard was the staff. Every person we encountered was friendly and helpful. Checking in and checking out were both quick yet friendly. We felt welcomed. After we checked in, as we walked past the Bistro I said to my husband, I wonder what they have, and a smiling employee appeared out of nowhere and pointing out a bunch of menus, said we were welcome to look. When ordering steelcut oats at breakfast, I mentioned that it would be nice to have an english muffin or something like that with them. The employee gave me a big smile and said "How about I make you some whole wheat toast?" Perfect! The Bistro was great. My spouse had some sort of omelet on flatbread with big bacon bits on top. The menu also had french toast and various other breakfast fare. Since it's a Starbucks, it has plenty of items to grab and go. The service was quick and the food was great. This will now be our Sacramento place to stay.
