In addition, I wanted us to island hop to Santorini and Crete. So I was happy to find a local travel agency. Nick was so easy to work with. We gave him dates of when we wanted to go and our budget. And the only thing I wanted to be responsible for was the excursions. He worked with us when we wanted to downside on certain hotels and answered questions at a reasonable time. Despite having a few questionable logistics, everything worked out smoothly during our trip to Greece. At first, we weren't going to do private transportation, but having it from and to the airport really makes a difference. In the end, we never had to call Nick for anything during our trip. We were able to enjoy every bit of our trip without a problem. So, thank you for making our anniversary trip truly memorable.

She booked me for the cheapest accommodation on Norwegian and did not explain any options for upgrading my cruise. When I saw options on the cruise website afterwards, I tried to call and email the agent, but she was unresponsive. That's when I learned, the hard way, that once you book a cruise through an agent, it becomes a contract, and the cruise company will no longer work with you directly. Reluctantly, I made a second appointment to see the agent, because I wanted to upgrade my booking. She was not in the office when I arrived, and I was told she had just stepped out and would be back shortly. I waited 20 minutes. When she finally did return, she was carrying take-out lunch for her and her husband, and kept me waiting another 15 minutes while they ate in his office. She denied this, but I could clearly see them in the reflection of a glass window/door. I told her I didn't feel we were a good match and asked her if she would voluntarily release my booking with Norwegian, but she refused. Highly unprofessional. I have myself to blame for not doing my research ahead of time. Next time I will seek reviews or asked friends for recommendations.

From the air travel to the transfers over to our resort to everything in between, everything went perfectly without a hiccup. We arrived at the Fiji airport and were greeted by a gentleman who took us to our own private area to wait for our helicopter transfer to Tokoriki island! We received welcome necklaces (handmade by women in the village), fans, and bottled water. We were able to rest in privacy until it was time to catch our helicopter. We flew over the islands with one other couple before dropping them off at their resort and continuing on to our resort; Tokoriki Island Resort. The views were amazing and coming in on a helicopter is such an unreal experience. Matt didn't miss a single element when helping my fiancé plan, either. We happened to be visiting over my birthday and when arriving there was a beautiful "Happy Birthday, Kristen" writer in palms on our bed. We had the meal plan included in our stay and were able to book massages with spa multiples times a day! The resort is small and beautiful and everyone becomes family after the first afternoon there. When it was time to leave, once again, everything was perfectly laid out on our itinerary for us, all we had to do was follow it. Our resort shuttled us by boat to the ferry where we were brought to the main island. Once we arrived at the main island, Matt had a car scheduled that was waiting for us to transfer us over to the airport. We had all our tickets and items that were needed for traveling at our fingertips thanks to Matt! Easiest traveling experience we have ever had.
