There are also various eateries, including Chuy's, Pho Bytes, Arigato Sushi, Dulce Crepes, Yu Noodles, Bombay Cafe, Fairfax Bakery, Nanjing Bistro, Grill Kabob Express, Wingstop, and many more. The parking area in front of Walmart is often full and can be narrow, making it confusing for first-time visitors to enter and exit. In contrast, ample parking is available on the side where many of the eateries are located.

For excellent customer service ACE Hardware is where it's at. The TJ Maxx here can be busy, but they seem to always have a fine inventory. Starbucks provides caffeine, for which I'm grateful. There are bigger and more exciting malls. Yet this one fits the old town look and experience. There's a pretty impressive dining and store selection in a small area. If you're in the area it's worth checking out.

For food, you can't go wrong with Bar Taco, Alta Strada, True Food Kitchen, or grabbing a quick bowl at Playa Bowls. The reps just kept saying that they needed my app open but it wouldn't open in the store. Apparently the phone number wasn't updated but they wouldn't even ask about an email address to find my number. They just kept saying they needed the app open. I wasted my time trying to pick up my drink and it was a futile attempt at getting my birthday reward. The second girl kept acting like I was lying. As a regular there who works in the area, I was rather disappointed!

There's a hair cutter, a karate establishment, and the H Mart is pretty cool. They aren't as price wise competitive as they once were. Such is life. Burke Road has a lot of speeding and traffic volume. Please be patient and safe. I hope they update this, or turn it into a mixed used spot like Mosaic. Until then it works for basics.

A Sunoco gas station is on a corner of the property as is a free-standing combined KFC and Taco Bell. The shopping center is in two parts, divided by the Burke Lake Road overpass. On the other side are an Enterprise car rental, Duk Wo (Asian Fusion) and Buffa's Dance Studio, among other businesses. The shopping center is very accessible from Burke Lake Road and Burke Road from West Springfield.

Chubby Squirrel Brewery when open is solid. Also while it's not the old location, Fairfax City Surf Shop lives on. Otherwise a Soviet Safeway, an ABC store, and a veterinarian. One of the better TJ Max's is here, and they have a Baja Fresh. You can catch a movie at the theater. Bed Bath and Beyond, will probably add the word "Gone," shortly due to a lot of issues. Also there's a Safeway, T Mobile, cleaners, bank, and a couple other places to shop. It's close to route 50 and Fair Oaks mall.

The movie theater here is by far my favorite of all the movie theaters in Fairfax County…read more The seating is not actually stadium-style, but that's a good thing if you'd have a problem doing stairs to get to your seat. You enter at the rear of the theater, and the seating-- which are all reservable fully-reclining seats-- slopes downward. The handicapped seats are in the rear, near the door. These theaters have a large amount of seats, and the rows are far enough apart to allow you to easily cross in front of a fully reclined person without any problem. I haven't had any trouble seeing the screen no matter where I sat, and I think the seats at the front are better than in stadium seating.
