I've been to UL a few times now, either to meet someone for coffee or go for a run. It's a very spacious university and loads of courses to choose from to study. Would recommend doing the Parkrun here or trying out a coffee and/or other facilities here read more

Even if you don't go to the college. Its mostly open to the public . Great sports stadium and indoor swimming pool. Need a long jog then go here and a great bar/ restaurant there too. read more

I wasn't there as a student but at an event for Ladies Gaelic football and wow what a beautiful place. There is a sweeping road, going through the campus and there are lots of lovely buildings and all built around the river Shannon which flows majestically through the center. Green surrounds all and it's a place that welcomes all, not just students. I even got to stay in the student accommodation and it's good quality living accommodation with large double rooms and a private sitting room and kitchen for each dormitory. read more

It's a beautiful place - nestled in a historical estate on the banks of the Shannon. The architecture of the Universisty of Limerick is a wonderful blend of old and new - glass and chrome, with air-space-tunnels joining ancient family estate-house. It's a remarkable place - hosting Ireland's best academically as well as in sport and music. It also houses the country's best sporting facilities - the Irish rugby team used be seen regularly there training. Substantial art collections are also housed, dotted around various faculty buildings. It's well worth a visit. It's easy to get to - out in Plassey/Castletroy just off the main road to Dublin from Limerick city. read more

My friend and I had a really fun time exploring this campus. We went there on Sunday, so…read moreunfortunately, most of the campus was closed, but not the stone corridors! These corridors features ancient tombstone dating back to the 2nd century A.D. Also, make sure to stop by the IRA Volunteers Memorial at the part of campus that used to be the old Cork Gaol. The most fun we had was sneaking into open classrooms and conference rooms. Our favorite was a large conference room filled wall-to-wall with encyclopedias. Yeah, I suppose the intended goal of those open doors wasn't so two yanks could sneak around historic buildings and breathtaking conference rooms, but well, it was certainly the outcome. UCC was easily the best campus we visited in Ireland.
