This was what the person that called DHS told me. The guy that sits in the front as you walk in. I asked him why would he call them if he knew that my grandsons dad was not in the picture and why did they not ask him if he touched that area when washing him before in shower. TO bathe a child we have to scrub all areas. I was so upset at how a few simple common sence question could have been cleared up instead of automatically thinking bad. We have nothing to hide so we are fine with them coming out but instead of helping my 6 year old with his disability they just made him scared by asking him to play with a baby and to show where his dad tickles him. This is not by no means ok. This poor baby needs to now see a counselor for the trama they put him in. This is a really bad experience and now has left my 6 yr old tramatized. I work with chiildren at my church and worked in a school before and theres steps we have to take before calling cps/dhs. If a child is in fact in danger and needs to be safe I agree to take that type of step and call. However this was not even at that level. When I mentioned that he would not come back the guy smiled and said thats fine. I am very concerned and have reported this to the correct places.

The interview went amazing, and I was pretty much hired on the spot. Although the possibility for my new career seemed promising, it was all a crock of crap. After weeks of modules and training, I was finally all set to start my first day! So, FF to the start of my first day... It was all smooth sailing until our group was notified that we had to pay for a TB test OUT OF OUR OWN POCKETS! AHHHHTTT, wrong! This is the companies RESPONSIBILITY! Also, then we found out that we had to complete about two weeks more in person training. THEN, we were told that we have to take the RBT exam, AGAIN on our OWN DOLLAR! I KNEW about the RBT exam, but was NEVER once told that the employee had to pay for the RBT exam, (until AFTER I started)! And each take was $45 out of the EMPLOYEE's pocket until we passed the exam! NONE of this was discussed during my interview!!! They get you all hyped up, excited for a new career that they BAMBOOZLE you into starting, all on a LIE! I suggest that Hopebridge is more forthcoming with future employees, because it's ALL lies and a bunch of b.s.!!! It's no wonder so many people quit before they are there for a week, and even more so (Which I should have paid more attention to) that they are CONSTANTLY training new hires. They have a new group coming in this week, AGAIN! All I can say is best of luck, to them, because they will need it. This has been the most disheartening experience I have ever had with an employer, they falsified their job post and failed to mention SEVERAL important things, which led to wasted time and money. We have been potty training and his therapist has been a great partner to us in the process.
