We have a party decorating business and we rented a tent for a client. Mi Tierra Linda dropped off the tent the night before the event at our clients home. When we arrived the next morning, we found the tent in horrible condition- see pictures below. Us trusting them, we thought the tent would be delivered in decent condition (we weren't expecting brand new or spotless). Since we had no other option in getting a replacement for the tent we had to purchase enough fabric to cover all 3 walls of tent costing us double the money! The tent was not installed properly, there were holes, mold, stains, and bugs on the walls. The ceiling of the tent was also extremely dirty and we were not able to do anything about it! After we finished our clients event, we went over to Mi Tierra Linda to try to work something out with the owner and all she could do for us was give us a $45 refund. She told us that we could've just taken all the walls off the tent! Unacceptable! That's not what we asked or paid for! We were not expecting a full refund since labor was done from them but at least half of the amount or a replacement tent would've worked for us but the lady stated that she did not have any tents available. We did everything we could do that our client was happy with her daughters birthday party. We will not be booking from here for any future events for our clients! (keep in mind I confirmed my order the day before, added more tables and chairs and they guaranteed me they would be delivering between 7-10am.) after not arriving by 11 I called them again, they ignored my call. I called again before 12 and they continued to ignore my calls. I called from a different phone number and that's when they answered telling me the same story about not being able to find my order having already told me they were on the way. After telling me again they were on their way I left it alone and waited. Come 2pm I started freaking out because my party started at 3pm, I called them again and nothing. It was 3 pm and I had no tables chairs nor moonwalk. I had to start looking for another company to deliver me chairs and tables because this place never delivered. It was almost 4:30 when they finally delivered my order. I wanted to cancel but they told me I couldn't. When they arrived they also only delivered the original amount of tables and chairs not including the extra tables and chairs I had added plus instead of bringing rectangular tables like promised they brought me circle tables In which I had to run to the store and purchase circle table covers. When they delivered the order they told me they would pick up the next day at noon giving me extra time in the morning since they arrived late. The next morning they were already knocking on my door at 9am very UNPROFESSIONAL. NEVER AGAIN will I hire this company and I hope my experience helps you when deciding to hire them.
