Dylan and his crew removed 21 medium sized cook pines that were planted too close to the highway and blocked our view of the sunset. Dylan came out to the Napili area to give me a free quote for taking down a large Tulip tree and a number of Areca palms which were blocking our sea view from the top lanai. He was easy to text with, very professional and friendly, on time, and knew exactly what to do to get our sea view back. He also quoted a competitive price, plus he had great Yelp reviews. So obviously, I hired him for the job! He and his crew of 2 arrived early, worked fast in the rain, were careful with my other trees, tidied up everything and hauled away the debris. Dylan scaled the Tulip tree to cut it down bit by bit so it didn't hit the fence,plants or cars parked underneath and his helpers lugged the wood and palms. What a team! Dylan and Upcountry Trees were very easy, efficient professional and reasonable. We got higher quotes to cut down our tree and some even turned it down because of the difficulty (40ft Australian ironwood tree growing right near a fence). Dylan stopped by, checked out the tree, gave us a very fair quote and we scheduled shortly after that. The actual cutting down of the tree went really smoothly with Dylan and a helper and some of the stuff Dylan warned about (nearby trees being harmed) didn't even happen. After the tree was cut down Dylan quickly and efficiently cleared out the remaining branches and stumps and left the area in great condition. If we ever have any tree trimming/removal in the future Dylan and Upcountry trees will be our first call. read more

Finally decided to remove a 30 foot Teddy Bear Palm in my front yard. Maintaining the tree by trimming off old fronds and inflorescence had become a pain in the neck not to mention hazardous. Standing on a 12 foot ladder with an extension saw definitely not recommended. Checked Yelp and found good reviews for Upcountry Trees. Called Dylan and set up a time for an estimate. At first I was unsure about this company since there were no reviews. I was pleased to find out that it was extremely professional and affordable.
