I needed to get HardiPlank siding installed on my house.. I met with their salesperson he was very nice polite and professional.. he gave me an estimate and I informed him that I will also get a few more estimates from other companies and will contact him within a week.. of course they wanted everything signed right away.. but I told him and his manager on the phone to give me a week to compare to other estimates.... after careful consideration of price and the feel of professionalism I chose to move forward with Midtown. We met a week later and negotiated a reasonable price on the phone with the salesperson and his manager.. they earned my trust and I put down 1/3 of the price of the entire project.. They told me that the installation would be completed within the 2nd week of July.. the next day they had delivered in my driveway the HARDIPLANK SIDING on pallets and its STILL SITTING THERE TODAY.. AFTER BEING REASONABLE CONSIDERATE AND UNDERSTANDING over this extreme delay I AM FED UP!! I HAVE BEEN MORE THAN PATIENT,, MORE THAN KIND AND MORE THAN REASONABLE AND UNDERSTANDING.. THEY ALWAYS SET UP AN APPOINTMENT TO COME AND MEET WITH ME BUT THEN CANCEL THE APPOINTMENT.. THIS HAS HAPPENED 4 TIMES NOW.. I HAVE EVEN TRIED TO CONTACT THE OWNER WITH NO LUCK.. AND THAT WAS THE MAIN REASON THEY BEGAN CALLING ME BACK.. LOOK IM NOT AN UNREASONABLE PICKY SHIT.. IM EASY TO PLEASE.. It's rare to see a contractor with only positive ratings these days, so choosing Tom and Jerry's…read morewas a no-brainer for that alone. I needed to replace the roof on a new home for my son. I obtained a few estimates from different contractors, and they were not the cheapest, but they were reasonably priced with far better reviews than the cheaper option, which is another reason I chose them. Thomas is highly responsive to communication, which again is quite unusual with most contractors in my experience, so that was a nice plus too. They provided evidence of insurance upon request. We paid a 50% deposit to get on the schedule and I was able to pay that by credit card without an extra fee, which was appreciated since it allowed me to get reward points on the purchase. A crew of three guys came out to the house early in the morning and completed the job just before dark. They did a phenomenal job. Each step was documented with pictures to show where rotten decking needed to be replaced, and an explanation of everything. Despite already being reasonably priced, Thomas gave us a nice discount for the extra decking on the final invoice, which was a happy surprised and very much appreciated. They also cleaned up very well after themselves. If you need a new roof or any kind of roof work, Tom and Jerry Roofing is the best there is without a doubt!
