I have had numerous orthopedic problems. Every Dr I've seen at Upper Bucks had been amazing. 4 surgeries and all went well.

Dr Shah was incredibly helpful with my hip back pain. I would highly recommend him to anyone with similar problems

My only experience lately was today and contrary to much of the negative feedback I see here - I had a very good experience from start to finish. I got an appointment quickly on the phone, they were very helpful in letting me know exactly what to expect when I arrived and what questions I should be prepared to answer. My day of appointment (today) went exactly as described. When they were unable to obtain my x rays from Jefferson, I was x rayed right there and it only added a few minutes to my visit. Dr Bumgardner was back in with me within minutes and very thoroughly explained what he saw, what the options were and made a recommendation (I asked for it). The course he recommended was conservative and simple and after receiving a cortisone injection, I already feel better. He patiently explained WHY I was experiencing the symptoms I was experiencing (which really helped me to not only understand my condition but eliminate doubt in my mind about what lays ahead). Honestly, this experience was as good a medical experience as I would ever expect. I was very grateful for the care I received by each of the 5 staff members I interacted with. read more

Deciding to have a knee replaced is a major thing and I wanted it sooner than later. After waiting for several days to get a call back to schedule surgery I was told the office is understaffed and that it would take closer to 6-8 weeks to get the paper work in order to schedule surgery. Why not hire more office staff? or have compassionate staff. I lost confidence in UBO. I just called an Ortho surgeon in Doylestown and they were very supportive and assured me I would be able to have the surgery in 4 weeks time. and I just read my actual charts and was surprised that Dr Weidner said in the chart that he told me all about surgery, but in reality he spent just about a minute with me. He spent all his time dictating a long paragraph and allot of it was news to me! I had no idea how bad it was.. read more

They are the most unorganised and professional Offices in the area. I Have had a very gruelling experience. 1st the initial care was beyond poor and now I am being told after 2 years that I owe money for services never rendered. Luckily I keep excellent documentation, however I warn others to stay far away. read more

Very poor administration, especially the scheduling staff (Robin Erickson) and office manager (Judy). They are rude and inconsiderate of patients' medical conditions and difficulties. Suggest you go elsewhere. read more

Horrible experience. Still living the nightmare after almost 3 years. Hip replacement by Dr Weidner, infected from the start. Revision 3 mos later, infected hardware couldn't be taken out. I am now disabled, cannot walk without aid and have to ride a cart for distance. On antibiotics probably rest of my life, in pain and medically bankrupt. I had a 2nd follow up appointment after my hand surgery and 45 minuets after my schedule appointment I asked the check out person when I would be seen by the doctor. Come to find out the doctor wasn't even in the office to see me. They asked me if I wanted to reschedule the appointment (from across the room) and my response was why should I? The office manager will get an earful tomorrow for sure. It's too bad they basically have a monopoly in Sellersville/Quakertown area but I will not go back. read more

Unfair billing practices. If you are scheduled for surgery you will get a call the day before telling you that you need to pay large amounts of $ or the surgery will be cancelled even if you have insurance. They refuse to talk to your insurance company and will tell you that you will get a refund after they get "their fair share". Reimbursement is only made after you are officially discharged from their services. Expect to wait 2 or 3 months for your money back that you never owed in the first place. Very rude billing department & the front desk has no idea what they are doing. The doctors are very nice if you are willing to pay out of pocket to see them. read more

I suffered a major foot injury on the job in November of 2017. I had to go to the nearest ER which was at Grandview Hospital which is one of the Hospitals these guys work with. Long story short I had to go on Workman's Comp and they approved these Doctors for the Surgery and follow up visits. My surgery included 2 steel plates, a bone fusion, some posts and pins all put in my foot. I was non weight bearing on my foot from November till February at which time I was put in a Walking Boot. After on month in the boot I was upgraded to a sneaker with an Orthotic in it. After one month of that I was cleared for work on Medium Duty restrictions despite my pleading to not do that because while the bones looked fine and the foot was healing fine internally, I was still experiencing pain and numbness in the foot as well as my ankle which theychecked numerous times and found no damage. Besides clearing me for work they also scheduled Physical Therapy. I have been back at work for 5 weeks and Physical Therapy for 6 and the pain I was feeling when I was cleared for work is actually the same and somedays worse. When I mentioned this to the Doctor he said that there is nothing more they can do and that the healing process is now entirely up to me. I sought a second opinion recently and that Doctor noticed some issues with my foot that these guys never told me about. One was I'm experiencing numbness because one of my two inscision scars is almost directly on top of the nerve so even the slightest pressure on the top of my foot aggravtaes it. They also only ordered 1 Orthotic and it should have been 2. Having only one Orthotic caused me to be off balance while walking and standing putting undo pressure on my back and opposite foot as well as aggravating the ankle and surgically repaired foot. My foot, due to the surgery, is also extremely rigid now meaning it has no give. That causes the bones to absorb all the shock of standing and walking instead of the muscles. This has caused the constant pain in my foot as well as severe tendonitis in my ankle. At this time it is not known whether the Surgery was done the way it was because they had not other choice but to do it the way they did or there were other options and they chose this one. read more

Yes, I had to wait to see the doctor, but it was well worth the wait! Dr. Cope is very professional and also personable. I have a lot of confidence in him and he comes highly recommended. After my surgery, I'll write another review and I'm sure it will be a five star review. By the way, I was an office manager in a large family practice a while back and understand how a doctor can get backed up in their schedule. In a surgeon's office this probably happens more often due to the doctors being in surgery a longer time than expected and other demands behind the scenes that are beyond the doctors' control. This was my first visit, a consult; and my first impression was that this is a large and very busy practice and I felt the doctors' staff conducted themselves professionally and were courteous. read more

My husband recently had his knee replaced by Dr Weidner. What a joke. First you have to go to "class" to learn about the replacement, then several office visits with people for the office calling almost everyday with all kinds of questions you already answered. He was an "excellent" candidate to come home the same day, but they screwed that up. He wasn't one of the first surgeries like he was supposed to be and then they goofed around all day and he was stuck there overnight. He should have signed himself out because there was no good reason to stay except these idiots couldn't get their act together. He "had" to have a walked which he used one day before we dropped it at Good Will. He didn't need it. Just another thing they can make you pay for. If you do use these people, be your own advocate. Don't just listen to what they say because they get paid no matter what happens to you. Remember that. read more
