I worked with this company for 6 months and was one of their bigger clients (marketing, ad campaign, web hosting etc). Their methods seemed outdated by I trusted them and gave them time to deliver. There provided zero results and they didn't know how to explain it or how to improve it. But that's not the worst part. After I canceled the work with them they still charged me for services and when I talked to Ken Okoneck, the founder, he promised to refund me. After few weeks of no follow through I talked to him again and he asked to pay me back in two payments. I agreed. He then disappeared and have stopped returning messages.

Beacon overpromised and underdelivered…read more The cons: Sub-par deliverables, frequently filled with typos, formatting issues, and errors. Their strategy was either generic or nonexistent, with no clear plan tailored to our business. SEO was completely overlooked until we raised concerns, only to be told it wasn't included in our current package (which is why they hadn't noticed that it had dropped). Worst of all: the website team. We've worked with a number of web teams in the past, and Beacon's web team was by FAR the slowest, least responsive, and required the most hand-holding and clarification of any team we've ever worked with. We waited up to two months for basic fixes (like broken buttons), and some were never resolved at all (and then quickly resolved in 24 hours by a new non-Beacon team). Turnaround times were poor across the board, and we felt like we spent more time fixing mistakes than moving anything forward. When we voiced concerns, there was little accountability. Beacon stood by work that clearly missed the mark, without having actually seen it. The Google Ads setup was a mess, poorly targeted from the start, and (again) full of issues no one double-checked or caught (fixed by a new ads team within a week). We felt constantly frustrated and behind. Ultimately, this partnership caused a direct, measurable decline in our revenue. Organic traffic, website performance, overall leads...all dropped--working with Beacon cost our business thousands of dollars. The pros: Two stars only because our marketing managers WERE kind and responsive. Gidion, in particular, took over our account and worked hard in the final months to try to address our concerns. And after we ended the contract, the CEO did reach out directly to ask for feedback. But based on our overall experience, we cannot recommend Beacon for marketing services.
