The facility is clean, secure and, aside from a few communication issues, I've always felt comfortable with the staff taking care of my child. However, if you want your child to be prepared for school when they leave here, you may want to look elsewhere. Our oldest was with PCC from infant through pre-school. When they entered kindergarten it was immediately apparent they were behind the rest of their class. PCC then, at the insistence of their pre-school teacher, asked our middle child to leave due to their behavior in the classroom. While having to move our child into a different program halfway through the year was burdensome it turned out to be the right thing for them. My child's behavior changed almost immediately in the new program. They have flourished and have now moved on to kindergarten more prepared then their sibling ever was. Being able to see the contrast the two programs also allowed us to see just how much of a lack of engagement and activities there was with our children at PCC. Ultimately, you have to do what's best for your family. And PCC is a perfectly okay daycare. However, if you want something more than just "okay" for your kids then you may want to look at other programs in the area before making your decision.

Compared to the public education this school is definitely ahead. My 3rd grader knows more in History, Math, Science, English and Bible than most 4th graders who attend other schools. The school has a summer camp which is amazing as well. My children love it and can't wait to go every summer. First of, the rooms themselves are very unorganized and cluttered. The floors are always dirty. They have multiple children with special needs in the classrooms who they don't get assistance for. They mix 4 year olds with the 1 and 2 year olds. They are consistently out of ratio. They DO NOT bring the children outside on the play ground or for walks. They are stuck in that one room all day long. And then they wonder why they have such behavioral issues with the kids?! I have caught the staff in multiple lies between teachers and the directors/owners. Overall, these people promised us the world when we enrolled our child and didnt end up meeting any of those expectations. They were given directions by our childs Occupational Therapist on how to help him and they NEVER followed any of them. I would never EVER recommend this center to anyone, not even for a day! I don't know what we would have done without this wonderful day care. We were new to this country and needed someone to take care of Kyra like home. Like every mother I am very careful when it comes to my daughter but along with that I am a cleanliness freak :). In the first 5 minutes of the tour in Goddard I knew this is where I could leave my daughter and be at work without being worried about her. Every person I have talked to in Goddard has left a smile on my face. With each day spent with you all, it has increased her confidence and made her independent. I cannot forget the small small things like in those first few days when I visited in lunch time to check on Kyra, I saw Maura (the owner) checking on Kyra and noticing how she is getting better with each day. The school is safe, nurturing, and educational within developmentally appropriate expectations. The staff at Lightbridge are truly dedicated to providing the best possible care for the children in their care. We've had exceptional teachers throughout the years, however Allison in particular stands out each day. Although their title is education coordinator, it is easily seen that they play any role needed day to day. I've seen her jump in to help pat my child to sleep for naptimes, handle any issues that arise with grace and compassion, greet my children by name each morning, and play silly roles like dressing up on groundhogs day. They truly seem to enjoy their job and make it more than just a job. The facilities at Lightbridge in Allentown are clean, safe, and well-maintained. There are facial recognition cameras to enter the facility, live stream cameras in each classroom for parent viewing, and their own app to keep you updated on day to day tasks. There is also a large outdoor play area where the children can run, play, and explore with two separate playground areas with sprinklers for water play in summers. My husband and I both work in the healthcare field with sometimes long hours. At times, this results in my children being at school more hours than I'd like. In an ideal world, we'd get to have our babies with us 24/7. Since this is not possible, Lightbridge is able to calm my very anxious mom heart, knowing my children love their school, are well cared for, and are thriving.

All the staff genuinely care so much for our son which means everything to us. We are so thankful at their attention to detail as our son has a LIFE THREATENING allergy. Miss Jayzel and Miss Allison handled an emergency with our son when he had an allergic reaction so well we were so thankful for their attention to detail and keeping our son safe. All the teachers truly love what they do and it shows. Miss Allison is so friendly and involved with the kids she exemplifies what a caring teacher and person should look like!
