The school is safe, nurturing, and educational within developmentally appropriate expectations. The staff at Lightbridge are truly dedicated to providing the best possible care for the children in their care. We've had exceptional teachers throughout the years, however Allison in particular stands out each day. Although their title is education coordinator, it is easily seen that they play any role needed day to day. I've seen her jump in to help pat my child to sleep for naptimes, handle any issues that arise with grace and compassion, greet my children by name each morning, and play silly roles like dressing up on groundhogs day. They truly seem to enjoy their job and make it more than just a job. The facilities at Lightbridge in Allentown are clean, safe, and well-maintained. There are facial recognition cameras to enter the facility, live stream cameras in each classroom for parent viewing, and their own app to keep you updated on day to day tasks. There is also a large outdoor play area where the children can run, play, and explore with two separate playground areas with sprinklers for water play in summers. My husband and I both work in the healthcare field with sometimes long hours. At times, this results in my children being at school more hours than I'd like. In an ideal world, we'd get to have our babies with us 24/7. Since this is not possible, Lightbridge is able to calm my very anxious mom heart, knowing my children love their school, are well cared for, and are thriving.

Miss Jayzel and Miss Allison handled an emergency with our son when he had an allergic reaction so well we were so thankful for their attention to detail and keeping our son safe. All the teachers truly love what they do and it shows. Miss Allison is so friendly and involved with the kids she exemplifies what a caring teacher and person should look like!

During our time at TLE, there were two different owners, but we continued to see the same issues. These were what we witnessed during our time at TLE: 1. Our son has issues with his feeding that require him to be held upright during feeding. Multiple times, this simple and medically necessary request was not followed causing him to projectile vomit and stop breathing. We trained multiple teachers and very few seemed to actually follow through with this request. 2. They will feed your children slumped on the floor. I have photo evidence of them feeding my son on the ground with his neck positioned in a right angle. 3. The floors were filthy even though they said there's a cleaner. Crumbs everywhere and carpets had weeks' worth of spit up stains. Former employees mentioned cockroaches as well. 4. Our son was given medication without calling us for consent multiple times. 5. They skipped multiple feedings and our children constantly came home with diaper rash because they weren't changed for over 3 hours. 6. They had so much turnover and so many different teachers throughout the day that they had to label our kid with tape to make sure he didn't get mistaken for another kid. Kind of funny but also speaks to the stability of the place. We voiced our concerns so many times, so this shouldn't come to a shock to TLE but they also took 0 actions to remedy any of this. There's a few good teachers at TLE, but owners, directors, and fill in teachers don't care enough to make sure your kids are safe. If you're able to, pay a little more and go elsewhere to protect your child.

Overall, the teachers are kind, accepting and genuinely care about our children; we couldn't ask for anything more.

It is worth every penny to send my child there. He is very sociable and is developing extremely well for a child his age. He is well adjusted and loves going to Tot Time. They take extremely good care of him, and meet his every need. Later my son had torticollis and had a therapist coming to work with him at the daycare. They were great & very accommodating. Being a new mom I called sometimes 2-3 times a day to check in and never did they get annoyed with me, they always gave me details on how he was and what he did that day. It was nice to hear when your at work missing your baby. Any time I have questions or comments in anything that is happening at daycare Tom and Amy are always willing to solve any thing that comes up. They truly love the kids, they go out of their way to make the kids day. It could be a cereal they ask for, a pajama day, or just making them feel special helping a teacher by being a helper. Tom and Amy are dedicated to the daycare, they work with you. I can't explain how grateful I am to have met Tom, Amy and the staff at Park Avenue. They are wonderful!

Hello, I am writing…read morein regards to Park Avenue Kids Corner in Neffs, Pennsylvania. My significant other and I recently enrolled our nineteen (19) month old daughter into the daycare on 11/17/2014. Our daughter has GERD and Gastroparesis which was made aware to the owner and managers. This posed no issue to them and they quickly enrolled her in their facility. My significant other also started employment through this day-care on the same day. On 11/18/2014, we received a phone call from the co-owner (Amy Sandholm) that our daughter and her mother were being kicked out and fired because it "was not working out". Our daughter was said to not be "adjusting" to the day-care setting. I find it extremely difficult to believe that all children adjust to day-care schedules in one and a half days. On 11/19/2014, we contacted Amy and all went up to collect our extra materials from the day care. Amy curtly greeted us and told us that our items were at the front and wished us "good luck". The owner, Tom Sandholm did not acknowledge us at all and refused to talk to us. I asked Amy to elaborate as to why the situation did not work out; she could give no specific reason. Amy gave such an ambiguous reason as to why my significant other was terminated and why my daughter was kicked out of day-care. As parents, we have the right to know. Needless to say, we left the facility flustered and hurt. This family lost $250~ between required background check mail orders, doctor physical co-pays, and lost possible income due to this day-care. In addition, the day-care took our tuition check for the full amount (11/17/2014 - 11/21/2014) when they were the ones who terminated the contract. Our Christmas holiday is severely in jeopardy due to this facility This family is hurt, plain and simple. My daughter asks why she cannot go back and I die inside every time she does; she feels like an outcast. I hope this facility does not get their third star in your program, they do not deserve it in the least bit. I plan on going through the Better Business Bureau in the event my significant other does not receive her paycheck, or the day-care takes pay for days my daughter was kicked out.
