Because I was short on time (I'm a teacher, and it was just a couple weeks before the school year was starting), I really wanted to find a place as quickly as possible and jump on it. So even though I loved the first house I viewed, she arranged for me to see several other properties with the other Redfin agent, Vivian, the next day, and that helped me decide to go with my gut on the first one. I ended up making an offer on that first house, and Danielle talked me through the whole process, helping me come up with an offer price, pointing out things in the house I needed to list to be addressed, helping me find competent people to do estimates and inspection, and then even talking me through my counteroffer and negotiation, and being very reasonable about what I should expect from the seller. She was spot on throughout the experience, friendly and practical, never pushing me one way or another. And when my offer was accepted and I went to do the final walk-through and found they had not sufficiently addressed all of my concerns, even though she was out of town, she talked to me on the phone and helped me weigh the costs vs. benefits of prolonging the process. In the end, she ended up coming over with her husband after I'd bought the house to staple down some loose wires that the seller hadn't taken care of, and I was worried about.
