Not sure why this is my very first review of this chain, but this is by far the GOAT of clothing reselling stores that I've been to over the years. There are multiple franchises throughout the south (and prob all over the states) and I first discovered UC years ago in TX. They give you more bang for your buck when it comes to buying your clothes compared to other similar stores, though they are somewhat picky and want to buy for the season or trends, which is fair. If you're selling, they will offer more value in store credit vs cash. Getting store credit is usually my go to since I love to shop whenever I'm here since they always have a good selection of clothes, jewelry, shoes, and other accessories. They rotate inventory by the seasons so you will always find something you may or may not need lol. Plenty of fitting rooms that are always clean. This location has a locked bathroom which is also very clean. Plenty of parking out front as well, including designated spots just for the shoppers which is nice. The sales staff are always welcoming and nice to chat with. They do a pretty quick job with turning over the items that they have to look through, but sometimes it does take a while and you do have to stay in the store for things to be expedited per their store policy, though that can possibly change in the future. Make sure you allocate enough time to chill in the store if you're selling. Overall, they have an amazing value on their relatively trendy items, and they often have color tag sales and I've seen some as cheap as a dollar per item, which is insane! Definitely one of my best kept secrets that I am happy to share with others since thrifting and upcycling is the way to go if you care about the earth. read more

The guy working is always at least professional. The ones with the glasses are extremely lazy and will just talk badly about customers in front of other customers. Defiantly not welcoming and I shop there often. Any item I've gotten here broke in no time or I didn't get the correct price. Would not recommend. The lady with red hair dye will purposely tell people she's not buying or "they're too busy," when she's lazy. Stop sending emails to sell or buy if I see her discouraging customers to sell. When she is pure lazy; you can be standing at the counter waiting to check out and she will just keep doing other things besides waiting on customers. The smaller younger one wi to glasses is a pure manipulative liar. The way her and the bigger one with glasses talks about customers is outrageous! Maybe it's jealousy but I've seen it more than once. If they hate their job; I wonder who forced them to apply. If management cared; they'd do something about the lack of kindness. read more

Uptown offers various of stylishly clothing. The store racks are very organized. Prices are fair. Make sure to go during sale days!!

There are many items to choose from. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable for the items I purchased.

This is by far the worst place i've ever been too. I went on Blackfirday with 20% off. and maybe that why??? anyways you might as well and save your money and just go to Ross! not only is it cheaper but it doesn't have " new shoes " with mud on them. Had a good experience with this location despite other reviews. I took 3 laundry baskets of clothes and they were able to take 72 items! I've sold clothes to shops like this in the past, and have had the best luck with Uptown Cheapskates in general (have also sold to Edmond) -- they can be picky, but I'd recommend going in with the expectation that they're not going to buy everything you bring and you'll leave happier, selling a few items and making a few dollars is better than none in my opinion! They say they buy clothes etc. but that's false. Took a bag of very nice clothes in and they bought 2 things. Gave me a pathetic story that they only buy things that are less than 2 years old. That's interesting because you have a Sturgis motorcycle rally shirt on your racks from 2019. They're racks are packed full of random clothing like $12 for a plain t shirt, no thanks! Gladly took my things back and will take them elsewhere. Won't waste my time even shopping at this place again. read more

I lost weight and needed clothes badly. I stopped in for the first gime and the store is clean and smells sooo good! The associates were friendly and I found a ton of cute up to date items at a steal! 5 dresses, 4 tops, a cover up and 5 pairs of shoes for $212!!! I will be back! read more

Sad to be making my first negative review about a company. After selling to Uptown Cheapskate I noticed that I was not given back all of my belongings. I called and let them know and then had to drive back for the third time to collect my belongings. When picking up what they "forgot" to give back I noticed that they consolidated all of my name brand clothing into the one bag they "forgot" to give me. Which I thought was strange and suspicious. When I addressed this concern I was not addressed by one person but 4 employees at the same time. There seemed to be no chain of command. I was not met with an apology for THEM "forgetting" my stuff but with "that's your own responsibility". I would think as an employee it is their responsibility to ensure that they run good and fair operations by giving back their customers what is rightfully there's. I would not trust this store to give you back everything that is yours. So count all of your items you are wanting to sell to ensure you get back what they do not buy. Otherwise they are "donations" as I was told by their assistant manager. Very fishy and what seemed to be unethical operations. read more
