Out looking for a Fathers Day gift and decided to stop here. This not a store I normally shop out, trying to find something different and unique. Well, this store isn't it. The sale prices are still high prices, however I found some leather sandals on sale $50 bucks for the hubby! I was never greeted when I entered store which is okay! I like just being able to freely shop without people trailing or tracking you. When I decided to check out I went to register and 4 cashiers behind counter with one cashier checking out a customer. No one gave me eye contact and when they did they just walked out of the cashier area. I'm thinking maybe they are stockers I'll just wait patiently until it's my turn with the cashier. Finally it's my time to check out and I'm standing in front of the cashier she looks up and states the line starts over there on the other side. Mind you 4 other customers are in line and she wants me to go to the back of the line. I explained I just walked through that line and now others after me are being checked out because the (blind sales associate) didn't help me but came over after it started getting crowded. She has the nerve to tell me to get in the back of the line. Anyway, no problem! I left box of shoes and other stuff sitting on her register. As I was leaving another sales associate walks up and states I'm sorry I saw everything I'll check you out. Gurl BYE... I'm keeping my money today. Needless to say not a great experience! read more

Nordstrom Rack is basically my second home in Oklahoma City. It's by far my favorite store in Oklahoma, since they literally have everything. After visiting many other Nordstrom Racks, this one is literally the best from their amazing customer service to how organized all the products are! Their shoe section is amazing, so many styles, sizes, colors and brands for a great price! They have a nice sunglasses and purse section in the front as well. So many cute home goods and a large clothes selection. I highly recommend this spot for your next shopping trip. read more

Precovid this was one of my favorite places to shop and the store had a lot of items on hand. After Covid, they reduced their inventory, products, and brands. Now it always feels like the store is empty and does not carry the items before covid. Most stuff seem like cheap fast fashion or stuff you can find at walmart. There does not seem to be great deals on brands like previously. Before covid I could find more Kendra Scott, Tory Burch, Seven for All Mankind jeans, converse or great deals on makeup. As a life-long Maxxinista, I have been so excited for this to open in OKC. I was sure I would just love it, but I have good news for my pocketbook, it's not the mothership I'd imagined. There's a lot of junk to filter through - entire racks of poorly-constructed clothing made from cheap materials. That stuff is cheap and trendy, but that's not really what I want from Nordstrom. The label items I did find were not as deeply discounted as I'd hope; in many cases not discounted deeply enough to have to wade through all the other stuff to find the one Vince blouse you might like. I'm sure I'll shop here, and I'm sure I'll be proud of my bargains, but I think mostly I'll be thankful to have one more way to avoid the mall. read more

My name is Maegan and I am a loyal Nordstrom shopper from Seattle. I grew up a Nordstrom baby- and have always loved the extra care and customer service Nordstrom provides, along with the amazing brands and products of course. I have been to many Nordstrom's and Nordstrom racks- but I am not sure if any experience will top what I experienced at your store. On a Saturday afternoon a few weeks back I was in town to attend my childhood friends wedding. After the ceremony I had a quick break and my high heels were killing me so I decided to search where the closest Nordstrom rack was to find some comfy sandals to wear to the reception. It led me on an Uber ride to your store. As soon as I shut my Uber ride door I quickly realized I left my phone in the Uber. Miles and miles from the hotel and venue in an unknown city. Frantic doesn't even begin to cover it. I tried flagging down the driver but it was too late I saw him speed away and I went in full on panic mode I walked into your store probably looking like a crazy person as I asked the first customer I saw if they had ever left their phone in an Uber. In which they looked at me like a crazy person. Ha. I desperately went to the cash wrap where I pleaded my case and asked for any help or advice. The first employee I spoke with was Cynthia. Who offered me the store phone if I had a number to call. I didn't. I couldn't even search for such- because well, I didn't have my phone. The whole store looked at me sorta crazy where I eventually said I'm from Seattle I know only 2 people here who are getting married today and I have no idea what to do. That is when I met Kristi- she paged over Ben and explained the situation, he said he had did it before. She directed me toward him. This is where the angel Ben Waldon came into play. He told me what he had done in the situation- and then let me, a perfect stranger, use his phone. Not only just to call myself... but to google what to do.. to call my mom and my boyfriend to let them know etc etc. needless to say after using his phone for a good 30 mins I got in touch with my Uber driver and he was on his way back to the store Ben Waldon saved the day. He went above and beyond. I had a lot of unsaved pictures of my kids (who I left for the first time this same trip) and was relying on my phone to check in with them and transport around town. Ben is the type of representative that makes Nordstrom special. He didn't have to help me... he could have looked at me like a crazy person like the customers I approached previously and everyone else in that check out line. I am forever grateful for Ben. Kristi. And Cynthia. I left that day with my cellphone- because of him. And also a pair of sandals and a cart full of new clothes. While the prices at this rack aren't that greatly discounted in my opinion as compared to tj maxx, the customer service is superb. I wish they had a different location though belle isle always attracts a variety of crowds. My mom bought me perfume in there and it had a faulty sprayer, I take it in and the sweet manager took it in the back tested all kinds and replaced! He also said if you don't like it feel free to pick out another. Their shoes have to be my favorite section! Always changing, reasonably priced well sort of. When they have an additional 25 off clearance is when I always buy! Their kids section isn't great at all, target has way more selection in my opinion. read more

I was looking for a wallet and my loving husband saw some wallets and purses in the window while driving by..he was excited more than I was! I think he was tired of taking me shopping...anyway, we've never been in a Nordstrom nor ever heard of one. I'm giving it 3 stars for right now because the place was big and fully stocked..when I looked on Google there were tons of great reviews so it MUST be a great store..right? So, after another trip I may have a more accurate review of the place. Unfortunately, we never made it past the tables at the entrance. We knew right away we were in the wrong store for us when little purses, even coin purses were marked $50 and up ON CLEARANCE! Regular prices were over $100 for purses and wallets. We looked back at all the clothes racks, the few shoppers and employees that kind of looked at us then continued doing what they were doing..no smile, no hello may I help you? I was wanting to get on the speakerphone and shout out to everyone that they can get the same or close to the same items waayy cheaper at other places than this!! We hurriedly snuck out the door as quick as we came in laughing all the way to the vehicle for even showing up in such a "high class" store with our street clothes on. After reading the reviews here it looks as though I shouldn't of came to such quick judgement...some people posted pictures of really good deals they found. Now, I can't wait to go back in to actually go deeper into the store and (for research purposes) see if I can find some great deals too. I love this place and they always get the clothes and shoes but ever time I've been going there they have been closed early because of the restocking this has happened about 5 times. They have a wide selection of clothes from Free People to Kate spade and the shoes are the best thing I was looking or some short heels and found a pair of wedged UGG shoes or 29$ I would recommend this place but just be aware of the restock days. read more

[] In Brief [] Disappointing selection. High price point. Weaksauce Rack. [] In Length [] When I first learned that a Nordstrom Rack was coming to OKC, I thought Belle Isle was an odd location. I mean... on one side, you have (in my humble opinion) one of the trashiest Walmarts in the city. On the other you have a Ross. It was like parking a Benz between a Pontiac and a Ford. However, having been inside this Rack, I can say that the location sort of makes sense... This Rack is no Benz. It's a Ford with some expensive, stupid, spinning rims. I can only vouch for my experience with the left side of this location. The right side of the store had nothing that I needed so I didn't even bother looking. I can only hope that what the ladies have to work with is better than what the gentlemen are being offered. The men's section is disappointing for a number of reasons: 1. The brands are "ehhh." Unless you're impressed by Original Penguin that is; they've definitely kept that brand well stocked. The standard stuff is available (Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, etc.). I don't remember all of the labels, but a lot of it was not impressive. 2. Also not impressive: the prices. At all. The "Clearance" rack had prices marked down 25%. Whup-Dee-Frakkin'-Doo. Go pay full price at an actual Nordstrom location. At least they'll have nice current fashion for the high price point. Overly trendy and tacky clothing marked down minimally are not good deals and if you think they are, there's a Nigerian prince I would like you to meet. 3. Any male who selects their wardrobe from this Nordstrom Rack is apparently trying to channel Donald Trump, the Situation, and Deion Sanders. Simultaneously. My belief that money does not buy good taste has only been strengthened. There is very little that I found that could qualify as being subtle. The only way the selection could get worse is if they had an area devoted to Ed Hardy. They have some decent pocket squares though, so yay on that end. The shoes are decent, although I have yet to find a nice pair that is also available in my size. Also, customer service has been consistently disappointing. A whole lot of staring without actual acknowledgement of my existence. Literally, not a word from the three or four employees who were within arms length. Just eye contact, before their conversations carried on. Pretty much the only ones who provide decent customer service are the dressed up employees (managers maybe?), as opposed to all of the employees in the lime green shirts. read more

After wanting to visit here since it first opened, I FINALLY made my way over a few days ago. Yes, I know...I'm slow. But I was excited to see what I could find. It's ok. It's definitely not the mother ship of good deals. Markdowns are only so-so most of the time to where I could probably find an even better deal on a competitor's website or store location. Case in point: offering a pair of Chucks at only $5 off their typical price is not exactly a discount. The clearance racks can house some great steals if you are willing to thumb through everything to find what you like. I wound up grabbing a couple Free People tops, that originally retailed on the FP website for about $100 each, for only $10 apiece. If you like Vince, there's plenty of that. I can't guarantee there will be that one style you love and just have to own, but you won't find a shortage of Vince, that's for sure. There are also a lot of shoes to work your way through. Probably a bad thing for me since I have this whole addiction thing with shoes. Designer shoes (Coach, Stuart Weitzman, Cole Haan, and more) can be found in a relatively small section off to the side of the main shoe racks. There's plenty of variety, ranging from boots to heels to sandals. And there are also a lot of brands: Sperry, Sam Edelman, Steve Madden, Converse, Born, and much more. But as previously mentioned, many of the markdowns are only so-so. But if you take some time looking and know your brands and their typical prices, you can make off great. I am personally a big fan of Sam Edelman and grabbed some sandals that originally retailed at over $100 for only $15. Customer service? Non-existent. You can recognize who works there by the bright lime green shirts being worn. But not once was I acknowledged, regardless of how many times employees walked right by me or stood literally inches away from me chatting with each other. And the chatting employees didn't even bother to move when they saw I was attempting to look at the rack they were casually leaning against. I gave up and moved to another rack. All in all, just an ok experience. I'm happy for the few items I found at a great discount, but I feel like the store leaves a lot to be desired in both better discounts (I'm not asking for thrift store prices, but 20% off is something I can do with a standard coupon code) and customer service. I'm sure I'll be back, especially towards the fall for some of those boots, but it won't be a regular shopping destination for me. read more

I'm not a big shopper and somehow got dragged to this store - glad I did! They've actually got a lot of really good deals. I was especially pleased because I have to wear a suit every day to work - and all the pieces that go with a suit are very expensive. I think you can find ties somewhere else for cheaper, but they definitely had cheaper socks and shoes than most places. I bought three pairs of nice socks for about $12 - if you want really nice socks, one pair can cost you more than that! Additionally, they have a huge selection of nice jeans (Joe's, Seven, True Religion, etc.) and they're all super marked down. I try to get "nice" jeans for $100 or less and the vast majority were. They had quite a few that were only $80... which is crazy good. Finally, they're actually very polite and organized for only being so new. I hope they're able to keep that up - definitely an unusual trait. Overall, I think this store compares positively to a lot of the options at the new outlet mall (which also has a lot of good deals). Label whores unite! You can shop till you drop in a contained and very organized environment :D They were playing 80's pop tunes while I was there. A lil' Freedom by George Michael anyone? I see supermodels.... If you take the time to sift through stuff, you might find yourself leaving with a steal. I guess that's all relative, depending on the shopper. For the ladies, there were a bunch of Joe's Jeans, Paige, True Religion and Hudson's for $80-$150. A couple clearance racks had stuff marked down 40%+. I didn't see any racks with ultra premium brands like Stella McCarthy, Versace, YSL etc. Very very clean.... And I mean clean like people haven't picked through everything and left a mess type clean. The men's selection is not as abundant as the women's (go figure) and they have clearly marked and separated the different sections so that there should be no confusion on where to go if you want.. Purses, for instance. The shoe department is lovely because every pair is put neatly in a box. The NR in Costa Mesa only leaves one pair out. You have to go to the shoe clerk to have them find the missing shoe in their back stock. Totally inconvenient! Well, I guess they've had a problem with people stealing shoes or something. Anyhow, another plus is that you can grab an employee with a lime green shirt to check you out (AHEM, not look you up and down "check you out" but ring up the stuff you want to buy and take your hard earned cash-o-la) Happy shopping! read more

This location was nicely organized, or i visited early enough in the day before full-on ransacking had taken place. I was looking for a purse and they had a decent selection. I was very tempted by a Rebecca Minkoff purse that was a great price the realized it was quite damaged. I really think it should have been marked even lower since it was damaged (other purses in same style were not damaged and were the same price -- different color). I think they should be checking for items that are damaged and pricing them accordingly. read more

There will be some days that you find everything that you're looking for and more, then there will be some days that you won't find jack. Today was one of those average trips for me. Okay, this was a waste of time. Of course there is no real Nordstrom in OKC, so I heard this was opening and was a little excited. I don't know what happened but when I went the selection was pretty terrible. I found nothing stylish, new or different, and I wonder if most of what is stocked at this Rack even made it into real Nordstrom stores? It's just my opinion but I'd recommend Marshalls over this place. I used to work at Nordstrom as a makeup so I thought this was pretty disappointing even for a Rack. LOVE! As an LA transplant I have found my home. There are so many cute trendy brands like Joe's, Free People, and Fire Los Angeles. All my favs from the west coast! The prices are really reasonable. I found so many good deals! Also, the people working there were amazing! They brought me different sizes quickly. They have a seamstress on staff too and she reinforced some buttons that were loose on some pants I wanted (last pair!) in just a few minutes. The pants were ready before I even finished the check-out process. Wow! They also have some neat household things and the jewelry section has some great items too. I'll be back for sure! read more

Went to Nordstrom Rack this week looking for the huge promotion they have for 70% off cashmere sweaters. This promo is all over FB. The staff knew absolutely nothing about the promo and insisted that I was mistaken. According to them the promo was for 70% off Nordstrom's retail prices. I already know the Rack is an outlet for Nordstroms so they certainly weren't telling me anything new. This is the third time I have been to the Rack looking for specially advertised promotional items and each time they have absolutely no idea what I am talking about. This is extremely poor management. The employees should be the first to know about promotions and specials. Not only didn't they know about the promotion they didn't even know if they had cashmere sweaters. The staff are shamefully unaware of the company's promotions and do nothing to determine what the promotions are even when told by a customer. They simply state the customer is wrong or misinformed. They are not very helpful and make no attempt to determine if a customer may actually be right. read more

Nordstrom Rack is the worst! They have tarnished the name Nordstrom. I ordered a piece of Tumi luggage, $450 piece of luggage! I needed it for a 6 day business trip...saw it online, and purchased it right away. This is when the disaster begins. I ordered it 3 weeks before my trip. After one week, the luggage went on sale. I called to get a credit for the difference in the price, but was told they couldn't do that. I asked to return it and let me purchase it again, they said they couldn't do that either. I was told to purchase it again, at the discounted price, and then return the more expensive one when it arrives. The discounted price was $350. I have now purchased two of these pieces of luggage for $800 and have not received either of the pieces. It has been a month now and after 10 phone calls to the "customer service" number, I have been given the "run-around." I have no other choice, but to contact the Better Business Bureau. read more
