The prices are really reasonable and they use pretty quality dyes and sterilize all their equipment. They run a pretty tight ship here, so they would have to being smack bang in the UQ union. A lot of traffic go through here, and these ladies are nothing but professional. A staple in the union outlasting many others.

She was very kind, compassionate and helpful with me as I've had some health issues affecting my hair. I just can't explain how great her customer service skills are and she did a wonderful job cutting my hair too! I will definitely return. I've been used to spending $100 or more on my hair so going to a shop in the mall to get a 'budget' haircut was a spur of the moment decision but one I'll make again for sure. There's nothing particularly special or fancy about the storefront, and get your haircut by the first available employee. Most of them have done a good job for me in the past, and I've left as happy as I have from barbers/hair salons twice and three times the price. The caveat is that if they're busy and in a rush, the quality of their work leaves something to be desired. It's certainly not the best pick if you have something elaborate in mind, but for simple, professional haircuts, it's a great choice so long as it's not busy.
