Urban Café is tucked out of the way in what might seem a bit of an odd spot. We had passed its sign many many times before deciding one day to pop in for a pre-work breakfast.
It turned out to be a spacious, light airy and clean café with a bit of cool art on the walls, magazines available and a couple of sofas amongst the other tables and chairs. It was very quiet when we came in, but not for any reason we could tell. The food is very reasonably priced and ranges from sandwiches to full Englishes (with free tea or coffee of course). You order from the server and food is brought to your table. Breakfast was pretty much what you'd expect from a café and was pretty good.
I note that Urban does takeaway and will also deliver platters etc for companies/parties etc. etc. On the whole a decent café, a nice find and one we would definitely return to.
No car park but it was easy to street park as the area is more warehouse than residential. read more
