Urban Celebrity Clothing (http://www.urbancelebrity.com ) is a UK-based online retailer, selling leading high-street and designer brands. It was recommended to me by a friend who purchased a dress on the site and was extremely happy with the outfit's quality and the speed of delivery (she got the dress the next day even though it was a standard delivery!).
When shopping online, I tend to stick to the sites I've already used and trust, such as ASOS however, shopping on the same websites means limiting myself to the similar clothing styles and I really needed a change. Urban Celebrity clothes are absolutely fab most of their brands, such as One Teaspoon, Ashley Marc Hovelle, Blue Blood or Eleven Paris are not available on other UK sites which means I can buy truly original pieces. What makes the site even more exclusive is that it's the only worldwide online stockist of Reem Alasadi's brand !
Unlike some of the shopping sites I've visited, Urban Celebrity has amazing product photos. The zoom is extremely accurate so I can see the detailing and the fabric in great detail which gives me a good idea of how the products look like. Photo descriptions are detailed which also makes shopping easier. Having recently bought 3 Urban Celebrity outfits, I can safely say that the clothes quality is amazing and the sizing is very accurate. Another thing I really like about shopping on Urban Celebrity is that you don't have to register on the site to buy clothes what I hate the most about online shopping is forced registration but luckily this isn't the case with UC!
The website offers a free standard delivery (next day delivery is £3) which is great. The longest I had to wait for my designer clothes was 3 days so as you can see, the delivery is very fast! In terms of payments, the site accepts all major cards such as VISA, Delta, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Solo, American Express and JCB. Urban Celebrity delivers to the UK, France, Germany, Ireland and USA which is a bit of a disadvantage if you don't live in any of these countries. As for pricing, I would say that the outfits are sold at typical high street prices (for example, a Religion T-shirt would cost you around £35 -£40). However, if you join Urban Celebrity's page on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=logo#!/group.php?gid=319374946911 ), you will receive regular updates with the latest discounts and voucher codes. You can also get their vouchers at http://www.iamvipcard.co.uk/ , not to mention that Urban Celebrity runs regular 50% sales!
As for the website itself it's extremely easy to navigate and the design is fantastic. The navigation bar shows the main categories, that is 'news', 'men', 'women' and 'Reem Boutique', which are then divided into further categories such as 'jeans', 't-shirts and vests', 'dresses' etc. Information regarding returns, exchanges and contact information can be found at the bottom of the site. The information's really straightforward, and if you ever email Urban Celebrity you will be surprised at how quickly they respond to your inquiries!
All in all, I would highly recommend Urban Celebrity to anyone who's looking for designer clothing and original, one-off pieces but doesn't want to spend a fortune on over-priced outfits. The website is easy to use and, once you decided what to get, buying your outfit shouldn't take more than 5 min. read more
