I purchased a skirt in the wrong size because I had lost weight from being in hospital for three weeks after a home invasion. No matter what I explained, Urban Outfitters refused to exchange the skirt for the right size. All the tags were still attached. I didn't have the receipt with me. No. Repeatedly, I was told no. It's the corporation policy. The CEO of Urban Outfitters is also the executive of Anthropology and many other stores. Trends can be hit or miss. Clearance section is quite large and interesting to look through, at least. The best part of the store is the last two times I wondered in I have seen woman wearing pants that have huge cut outs in the thigh area. I think the first time they were more like chaps that showed butt cleavage, but with tapered legs and out of stretch or jersey material. I love a good spectacle 4 stars. read more

When I feel the need to surround myself with "hip" things and people. I find myself wandering into UO. It helps you follow and know the trends, and that's not always a bad thing. Some things should come back around... like records and floral pattern shirts. Hahaha. Recently I've found myself spending way too much money on Vinyl, and Urban Outfitters has helped to feed my addiction with it's brand spanking new LPs. The staff at UO is always friendly, and not that "I-just-work-here-and-I'm-making-sure-you-don't-pilfer-friendly" but that genuine friendly. They'll take the time to assist, and even hunt down an item in the depths of the store for you. For you frequent flyers, be sure to acquire the UO App for your cellular device. You'll save some loot, be able to check out what song is playing, and Tweet your whatever if you're into that kind of thing. UO is in the know, and always is for the most part. I'm glad I'm finding little things to appreciate about the brand again. They're on their way back around. They're not trending, but they're "hip" and here to stay. read more

Sometimes they are a bit pricey but always trendy. I love the location and area this is located in. It is always very organized and well laid out. It's very easy to shop here and for the most part I can always find my size. I wish there were a few more staff members to help me with questions. And possibly to suggest options and how to wear certain items. read more

I really liked their sale rack!! It wasn't too picked over and unlike most UO stores there were no marks on, pulls, or rips in the sale clothes. Unfortunately, there were quite a few shirts and dresses on display with a ton of deodorant on them. The woman working the fitting rooms was quiet but helpful and the few cashiers were kind as well. Not your usual judgey UO which was a nice change of pace but with just as much style and pizazz. Lacking the 5th star for the deodorant & ripped clothes and for the girl restocking who practically threw clothes onto hanging racks with mad attitude. read more

Such a great store! I'm so glad that we have one here in town. The staff is always fun, friendly, helpful, and inspires me with their unique looks. Always a must when you're in Nob Hill. Luckily it's not too convenient of a location to where I live or I would have no paycheck. read more

Urban- you GET me. And I'm not even a hipster. But. I do like muted colors. I love to layer. And, even if I'm not planning on buying, browsing and putting together potential outfits for the future is also a good time. Your music is fab, your staff is chill (please don't breath down my neck when I'm shopping, unless you plan on buying me a drink after) and... you're in Albuquerque! As far as your prices, I think they're actually quite decent. Way better than say, Express (WHAT has happened to Express? Tres expensive and way too runway-ee. Boo.), Fun little trinkets, books, make-up- I'm just happy when I'm in here, whether I'm buying or not. It's like Disneyland! Without the lines and screaming kids. This store is fantastic! It's got it's own flare and uniqueness to it, which is something I appreciate about each Urban that I go to in different cities. The staff is especially helpful and friendly. They are more than willing to go look for other sizes and give you advice in the fitting room. What's with the crazy patterns of these clothes and the prices. I only buy the t-shirts here because they have them on sale. The books and fun interesting stuff in the front of the store are fun to look through. If you want to give a cool gift I would suggest going to look through some of that stuff up front. read more

I was on an excursion in ABQ and decided to stop by UO since we don't have one in Santa Fe. I typically order online from UO but missed going to a store. I thought they had a good selection of dresses, summer wear and cute tops. I typically don't like most of their clothes since it's a little out there for me but I loved the bright colors. Their customer service was good- someone was in the fitting room and let me in a room right away. The check out lady was friendly as well. I thought it was weird she asked if I wanted a bag or not. Do they expect customers to walk outside with clothes?! Very strange. However, I do like that they do email receipts (just like Nordies). read more

Urban Outfitters has been promoting a "byob" bring your own bag for store purchases- and if you do decline a bag then Urban donates the cost of the bag to the Young Survival Coalition, a nonprofit organization supporting and educating young women with breast cancer. No one is expecting you to carry around your purchased clothes- but a lot of people bring in their own reusable bags or simply say they don't need a bag. read more

I've been a loyal UO shopper for years and usually love it. This time, however, I bought a cute dress on the sale rack and when I got home, peeled back the sale tag to find that it was a dollar MORE than the original price. Thinking it was a mistake, went back, and the manager said that it was correct and they were just trying to get rid of the dress since it was the last one. It was an intentional fake sale, and common practice! So watch your prices people in the clearance section- could be a sneaky little scam. We were surprised the manager was unwilling to lower the price and honor an advertised sale. I work in retail and at our store, if we are trying to move something fast it goes on real sale, since that's the point of markdowns. Anyway, I usually love this store and will probably be back at some point. Sharing this experience as a little head's up. Make sure to peel back the sale price and check what's hiding underneath! read more

I've been to Urban Outfitters locations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, New Orleans, and Philadelphia but something about the Urban Outfitters in Albuquerque really stood out to me. To be completely honest, this is my favorite UO location that I've ever visited! The location is awesome....it's located just a few blocks from the University of New Mexico and it's a great place to shop if you're a student...with a student budget. It's located in the Nob Hill neighborhood of Albuquerque so it's close to cute restaurants and cute houses. It's also on one of the main streets so you can't miss it. The store itself is very clean and organized. The women's selection was really good and it was just easier to find stuff because the store wasn't cluttered and there weren't many people shopping. The store felt really open and spacious that I didn't feel claustrophobic like I usually do at other UO locations. They have really good sales with decent stuff on the racks...not just reject items that no one wanted...that's my issue with the sale racks at other UO locations! The staff was super friendly and surprisingly not snotty...like they usually are at other UO locations. If you live in Albuquerque or planning to visit...and you need a new outfit...I definitely suggest stopping by this UO location! read more

This Urban Outfitters in specific , I feel, is incredibly clean and well organized. I have been to many Urban Outfitters in other areas, and mostly they were very messy, probably due to the customers throwing stuff on the floor, but still. The sale section in this location is very large and the clothing in the sale section is great! The prices are slightly high for clothing on the floor, but some things are so great they are worth it. Also, many items move to the sales area after a little while, and the sale items are amazingly well priced. The sale items are also not just throw away items that didn't sell well, they are actually things that are nice and in style. Out of the many UO's I have been to, I think this is the best, and highest rated one. The employees are always friendly, and offer exception help and service upon request. The staff is ready to help with any problem, and come up with any available solution. read more
