The isle was wide enough for other carts and people to pass through, and no one was behind me or approaching me. When I tried to move my cart so I could go else where, customers were passing very close to me so I couldn't mov, even though they had room on the other side. Suddenly, a EMPLOYEE passed me and said to a lady passing, all while I'm literally trying to move but they blocked me in, "What a convenient isle for her to park her cart." That's disgusting that they have an employee who makes fun of customers with customers. He literally trapped me in, and there was room for him and the customer to pass with ease! The employee was the overweight man with the long gray hair. And this isn't the first time I've heard him talk rudely/use a disgusting attitude towards customers.

This has a vendor style set up, and seems to change around. It is winter, and I will say the place is freezing, but it gave home to a little room up and to the side that had a friendly man who really turned his space into a little oasis. It was shut off from the rest, had space heaters and was well curated with items. It was a really fun place to find. Recently they seemed to have turned the front into a redemption center for recycling. I am all about recycling but it did smell really terrible. It was also cold enough we didn't get to explore all of the floors. In the waaaaay back there is a door labeled with a sign that says "unheated! Close door behind you!" This vendor space had some really gorgeous antiques in it, with a few lights I am still thinking about. My advice is to go, dress warm if its cold outside, and prepare for a little adventure as there are twists and turns and places to find everywhere. This new shop takes eco-friendly to a new level. They are located in the atrium of the commons…read morelevel (bottom level) of Carousel Mall in a oversized kiosk that is lit by the skylights above them. It is, of course, built with all eco-friendly materials. The store carries three brands. The first brand, Sympl Jeans, which includes organic denim and a line of soft and lightweight tees that are made from superfine 100% organic Peruvian cotton. These reasonably priced knits come in several styles and great colors. Sympl Jeans also carries denim for both men and women that are available in a variety of washes and fits. I bought myself a pair of of Simpl jeans that were on promotion for $59.50! They're fantastic feeling, haven't stretched out at all after 3 wears, and fit very nicely. They run big too, so, purchasing a size smaller than I usually wear was nice :) Eco University is the store's second brand, which is a line of young preppy knitwear that includes polos to rugbys. These are also made with 100% organic Peruvian cotton, so they're very soft, have a great fit, and comfortable feel. Lastly is the store's namesake brand Clothing for a Better Earth. This consists of several men's tees that have front pockets with complimenting logos, graphics, and slogans. When I was there, they were BRAND new and were having lots of great promotions. I ended up walking away with a free hat with the Clothing for Better Earth logo on the front. (I will have no problem being a walking billboard for them!). The sales person working when I walked into this unlikely fashion hot spot was extremely friendly, helpful, and informative. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here, recommend it to everyone, and look forward to seeing it grow.
