I looked everywhere for an arborist and came across Second Generation in various social media groups. After further research and cross-referencing, I decided to give them a call for an estimate. Meagan came out to assess what needed to be done and, after discussing the details of how they approach problems, take precautions to prevent damage and disease, meticulously clean up after themselves, etc., I hired Second Arborist to take care of our problem trees, a total of seven, and lift the canopy to allow more sunlight to reach our flower beds and lawn, and give everything a nice refresh. Her small team of professionals even ensured we were completely satisfied with their results before leaving. We couldn't be happier with outcome. Next time, before of calling on someone with free time and a chainsaw (as we have also done in the past!), give Second Arborist a call. They'll do a great job at a very reasonable cost!

I recently hired Bradley Landscaping for a multi-faceted project. The project included repairing my…read moresprinkler system, which had not worked in 5 years, completely re-sodding the front and side yards, putting in mulch rings around all of the trees and lastly, they were to remove all of the old, ugly shrubs and replace them with a new flower bed. First, it was like pulling teeth to get them to do anything. From the day we signed the contract in May, it was over 2 months before they actually started on the project. Even though I told Bradley up front that the project had to be completed before August 1st due to HOA demands, I was constantly having to call them, urging them to start the project. They would never commit to a date. They finally started on the project in the middle of July. First, they repaired the sprinkler system. The quality of work was okay, and the plant selection and rock filling for the new flower bed was very good. But the sod installation was very rough due to them not preparing the ground properly before laying the sod. When I had an area of the sod that died due to lack of coverage by the sprinkler system, Bradley kept promising to come back out and replace the sod under warranty, but he never did. All in all, I cannot recommend Bradley Landscaping. It was just way too much trouble. And I'm stuck with a yard that looks very rough. Bradley quit communicating several weeks ago. So I assume he's done all that he's going to do.
