At the 4-week point, I called Craig to see if my job was on the near term schedule. He contacted the office, and that afternoon, I was called by Harlee and informed a crew would be out the next day. Chris and Garon arrived on time, confirmed with me exactly which trees and how we wanted them trimmed up. Republic tree service called me promptly the next morning, a gentleman by the name of Lewis was on the other line, he asked me if he could come by at 12:30pm may 2nd. I agreed, and took off lunch to meet him at my house. lewis never showed up at 12:30, he calls me at 12:38 to tell me he is running late, and would be by in 45. 1:40pm rolled around and lewis still wasn't at my house and hast contacted me. Ive already gone over my lunch by 40 mins waiting for him. I called Lewis, he answered, and as I'm explaining to him that I despise this level of unprofessionalism he hangs up on me. I call the main line, and Scott Madley the owner answered. Scott apologized on behalf of lewis and assured me this is not how he operates, that he needs the business, and would come by my house Tuesday morning personally. Scott didn't come, he sent Lewis. Lewis was great in person. Apologized and we moved on. I signed the quote that day, 5/3. today is 5/6, no one has called me to schedule the job. I called and Scott wasn't available to me. He came out,…read moreassessed the situation, gave us his opinions on which trees to concentrate on, gave us a fair quote, and came back a few days later to treat our trees. The treatment involved clearing the main roots of a lot of ground cover, drilling into the roots, and connecting injection tubes containing a fungicide. Our massive oak took all day and he still wasn't satisfied enough had gone in, so he left the injectors in overnight and came back the next day. Although these treatments have no guarantee that they will work, it's all there is against oak wilt and we feel confident that if anyone could prevent them from getting oak wilt, he could. He is a certified arborist and certified oak wilt specialist listed on the Texas Forest Service website. Very thorough and informative.

Her rates were more than reasonable and competitive. Once I wanted to schedule, she let me know when they would be out - and kept their appointment. Another tech, Shelley, came out and pruned my trees. We chatted for a bit, and they were happy that we had such knowledge and care for our trees and what grows in our yard. Payment was easy.
