Yes they have Fruits but I come for the Food deals!…read more At first glance you might say this is just another fruit place like that other one called "Palacios" and to some extent you may be right. They both offer a lot of the same things, in particular Fruits and Cooked Foods but Frank's has more value and at least to me better and fresher quality food. The food is not precooked and sitting under a heat lamp for hours. They also offer convenience items like toilet paper and dog food. But what I come here for and continue to come time after time is for their Masa Fritas (Fried Pork Chunks) and their Cuban Tamales. For the ridiculous price of $3.50 they give you a very generous portion of Masa Fritas with in onions and mojo. And the Tamales are always moist and delicious. I've never had a dry one yet. Service is usually quick and you can tell regulars go here a lot. They have a great menu selection and some of the prices are borderline ridiculous at how low they are. But I'm not going to complain. It's the spot where I keep coming too especially when the wife says it's my turn for dinner. Highly recommend trying Frank's out when looking for some good Cuban food portions and great prices.

We all got multiple items and were satisfied with the food. However the service was a bit off since it was hard to communicate in English which led to some mistakes in the drink orders and the drinks also took a while to be finished. But there was plenty of seating outside and it looked overall clean!

Classic Miami flavor and still the best place for pork and lechón…read more Back when I lived in Miami, there were only two El Palacio de los Jugos locations. Now they've expanded and while this was my first time at the Flagami spot, it didn't matter one bit. The same delicious food, the same friendly, fast service, and that unmistakable Miami vibe were all still there. I came for what I've always loved: the fried pork chunks (nobody does them better) and the lechón, both full of local flavor and perfectly prepared. Though they offer pastries too, I opted to swing by a bakery separately but it's great to have that variety available in one place. I was in and out very quickly, which is always appreciated when you're just trying to grab something good. The staff behind the counter were just as nice and efficient as I remembered from years ago. If you're in town and craving authentic, hearty Miami eats from meats to juices to fresh fruits this is definitely the place. The only hard part? Choosing just one or two things from their incredible variety.

I am really impressed with Milam's Market…read more I went last night for the first time. I was hoping to find some banana chocolate chunk bread from Susilicious, a vendor I recently was made aware of at the Mango Festival that Fairchild Tropical Gardens holds. Turns out that while Milam's carries her goodies, they had no bread. I spoke to who I believe was the manager and he was very kind and found out they don't usually get bread. Just cookies and meringuitos. I ended up buying some cookies. I'm sure they're delicious. I will have to keep hunting for some more bread from Susilicious. I am happy, however, that her brand brought me to Milam's. While there's no way I would shop there on the regular (too far and too expensive for me), the customer service is exemplary and the selection for wine, cheese, and bread are stars. I found rows upon rows of wine. Felt as if I were in a mini wine store. Not to mention all the breads, including Brazilian cheese bread and even prebaked French baguettes. I think the only thing I didn't see was Indian naan, and even, I wonder if I simply missed it. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian meals. Freshly made salads, sushi, and deli products. Oh, and individual Panera Bread soups that I've only ever seen in bulk at BJs and Costco. But the best part? A ridiculous amount of sauces, including arrabbiata.
