I love this Thrift Shop. It's one of my regular go-tos. I'd go more often, but because they are 7th Day Adv. they are closed on Saturdays and early on Fridays. They have great prices and a fun customer loyalty program. I do agree that their selection is much smaller since being under new management. So please donate! Sometimes I hang around to wait to see if new items are being brought out as I've purchased several items straight from their new bins which always makes me happy since I frequent here often & see the same stock on shelves. I haven't been here in a year and sad to say but this place used to be clean and organized. There hours changed but they are considered a retail store so I don't understand the new "business" hours. If you are there an hour before they close the whole staff (all men by the way) wait by the register waiting for the last customer to leave - making me feel uncomfortable and rushed. I came twice in the past two weeks & I am not sure I will be coming back. I used to enjoy the old hours of "operation" and how neat everything was (separated by sizes, type of clothing). I don't understand their new set up. Maybe it's because they have bigger furniture now to sell. read more

This thrift store has a nice selection of things! The clothes are super cheap (just $2 for most items - $1 for kid's items), but they're not sorted as nicely as some thrift stores. The books, however, are organized nicely by topic. The shop is majority clothes and books, with some furniture, and then all the "stuff" is on the back wall shelves all piled on top of each other. Some prices are ridiculous (I saw something priced $5 that you can get new at Dollar Tree for $1), but other things, like the clothes, are nice and cheap. I came out with three nice board games for a total of $8. Good deal! read more

I've been hesitant about writing a review since this is a place, but there are some things that I think people could benefit from knowing. First, it's a thrift store, so know what you're expecting. That being said, its right next to a hospital, and many physicians and other practitioners from Loma Linda University Health donate clothes, books, furniture, etc. here and that makes the quality of some items considerably higher. The furniture is usually prices okay, except when the manager marks up furniture to get more from the people who look like they're better off (that's just a suspicion since they don't put prices on all the pieces and he just comes up with them on the spot. Second, the big thing that draws me here are the books. While the selection can be hit or miss, the prices are great, and the quality is good. The books aren't super bent or stained, and some still have the purchase sticker on them, leading me to believe that some books are donated right from certain stores (like Barns & Nobles or Target). Third, the management is concerning. I try to come when the manager isn't there because I have a very hard time with the way he talks to employees, customers and the homeless individuals who come in for care packets, coats, socks or the other things they give away free to homeless people. When I've been around, I've heard the manager drop the f word, speak critically about the people around him, and put down employees. This is very concerning to me since I see the employees working very hard to help patrons and they manager seems to be in his office at all times on his computer. read more

I've been a long time customer of all the Re:Live stores when there was still a San Bernardino and Colton location. I've always loved the fact that I could consistently find good deals at every location. However I recently went back to the last location in Loma Linda three times in the last 2 months and I can't say that I will be back just because the store manager is incredibly rude and borderline abusive to the employees. Every time I've been there I would overhear him yelling (and I really mean yelling) at the employees in his office and on the sales floor. I remember coming in when the store was already closed (I didn't know because the open sign was still on and there were tons of people still shopping and he started yelling at the employees for not locking the door and turning off the sign. Then he proceeded to yell at them to tell everyone to "get out and the registers were all closed". Couldn't believe how unprofessional he was being. Aside from that the prices are ridiculous. I saw multiple things from the 99 only store priced at $4 or $5. Some stuff even had big lots tags on them but Re:Live was charging more than the sticker price. The only deals at this place now is the $3 bag sale. However if you do decide to come make sure to come prepared because people go nuts and there's usually a huge line to get in. read more

My friends and I love to come here. We love to come here every first week of the month(monday) which they do give great deal..I do find new stuff in good condition which is much cheaper.i also buy books here because its $1 for 3 books and I returned it after completed my reading...after window shopping at this store, I will do my carwash which is located right nxt to this store.(self-wash car). read more

I have to say I have seen marked improvement in this store. The prices are most often hitting that sweet spot...they did raise the prices on clothes and books but nominally...which I guess has allowed them to level out some of the crazy Town prices they were having...I am not really sure who is running the store but I hope it is the slender mixed women with the funky hair. She is smart helpful and consistent...she is always working and handles customers asking for extra discounts politely but firmly ...I used to hate to be in line and the person in front of me haggle over every single thing and win every time.. Walks out with a basket full for the swap meet resell paying 20.00 ..because after she got the price lowered on every single item the kid tells her it's 36.00 and the women says I only have 20...then proceeds to no longer have a grasp of the English language...and leaves the 20...what....okay here's my 2 items 23.00 okay thanks....for some reason I feel way less awesome about my finds...the funky hair lady will give you a discount if....your buying a ton of items...or the item is in someway damaged...(or if your homeless) read more

I was very unimpressed by this thrift shop. I also was not impressed with the business practices of the people who work there. I went through a huge binof baby clothes, and found about six or seven pieces. I asked do employee how much each piece was, she went to the back and found out that $.50. As I went to the register there was a paper located behind the register stating that baby clothes were indeed $.50 apiece. The person working at the register then informed me that that was incorrect and each piece would be a dollar. I nicely informed her that in employee had told me $.50, and that the paper also showed $.50. She refused to honor the pricing, and I left empty-handed. I did not appreciate having to dicker with the owner to get the correct price.I feel that if the price is posted at a certain price it should be kept that way. read more

The purpose of the thrift shop is to help people. It is run by the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Sometimes you can find a good buy like every thrift store. Their cloths are very inexpensive to help the poor. They give things away and give money to some of the poorest of the poor. It is a church out reach store. They run specials and they get some very good furniture from time to time. With Covid 19 things are a little bare. The staff is very nice with the change in management. read more

I've heard good things about this place, but it did not live up to its expectations. As soon as I walked in I could see numerous customers sitting around on the furniture. I looked through the clothes for about 30 minutes and did not find one item that I would even consider buying. Everything looked very dingy and old and new brands that I've even ever heard of. To top it off, the girl that was working the register continued to cuss and talk about how a worker in the back was bugging her. This went on for the entire time I was on the store. This place is pretty small but i always leave with awesome deals. First off they have a great book selection and you can get three for a dollar, second all clothes unless otherwise marked are only two dollars a piece, and third is they have good sales when you catch them like their $2 fill a bag clothes sale (first Monday of month) and their dollar furniture sale (sporadic). This a pretty awesome place to shop. They get a lot of good donations in. Their clothes are $2.00 for adults, $1.00 for kids and 0.25 cents for babies. They have a $2.00 clothes bag sale on the 1st Monday of every month. Their prices on other items are pretty cheap and if you love books they have lots of books as well; 3 for $1. I absolutely love shopping here, it seems like they always something new every day. read more
