Dissapointing experience. I've shopped here multiple times and support local business but won't be shopping here again. Owner was actually in store today and was chatting it up with other customers but failed to greet, nod, smile or acknowledge myself, my wife or my daughter as she walked passed us several times and barely answered our question about an item (gave us a one word answer). We asked if she was the owner because that says a lot about a business and walked out having an experience that people of color are all too familiar with. Great little Shop! The bath bombs are my new favorite items. They all smelled so heavenly and natural. None of them were overly scented. And best of all they are affordable. The small is $1.50 and the large is $3.50. My skin feels so soft and smooth after use. If you're into smaller items or beauty items like myself, they have cute lotions, deodorant, and lip products as well. These would be perfect for a gift bag or to throw in your bag. I can't speak for the quality of the clothes, but I was surprised that the prices were actually affordable. The quality felt good when I searched though the racks. A lot better than fast fashion places. If you're in the neighborhood I would definitely stop by. This place is a treat. read more

My husband and I visited a few weeks ago. When we entered, the owner and the other lady working there had been chatting it up with another customer who was already, so I didn't notice right away, but as we walked around and checked things out, nothing had been said to us. We weren't asked a thing. It was getting almost uncomfortable. I even purchased a couple of things. The lady checking us out barely said anything and then as we were walking out we had walked right past the owner and she still didn't say anything. I'd blame it on the convo with the other customer but that convo had died by the time we got to the register. It was very strange. I didn't post immediately since I wanted to chalk it up to a one time thing but when I grabbed the garment I had purchased from there today, I was reminded of the experience. I also noticed that someone else recently JUST experienced something similar. So something is going on...? I get bad days, etc. but we're asking for basic customer service, not for the moon. The whole experience just left a bad taste and it's a shame because the store is cute, has great finds and is reasonably priced. I definitely would've been a long time customer. read more

This cute little shop next door to the Fox theater has a selection of artisan soaps and hand made chapsticks and balms. Ive tried the tobacco flower, boardwalk, confetti and red door. The owner recommended her Belly Balm for my stretching 9 month pregnant belly. I feel great knowing that the product is totally organic ingredients. read more

Red Door Vintage has clothing for women that will not disappoint! Every piece of clothing is reminiscent of a time period and each is well-curated to fit the store's theme & product stock of vintage/vintage-like items. Red Door Vintage has a boutique feel to it, is very clean with an open floor plan, and has a lovely fragrance to it. This shop also sells handmade soaps as well as crystal/artisan jewelry! There are also a couple pairs of shoes available too, but mainly clothing. You won't find prices similar to those of the extremely affordable thrift stores; you'll find that this is indeed a "vintage shop," and not necessarily a "thrift shop". But for the good quality clothing pieces, the prices are reasonable. Just know, you won't necessarily find an article of clothing for less than $10. Although you're definitely paying for quality because the dresses and trousers available are in excellent condition. The only item I purchased was a 1950's Reader's Digest book for $3.50 (possibly the most affordable item in there), as there were stacks of them used as store decor. I simply ADORE this shop! Every part of it is full of delightful vintage clothing and accessories with a few artisan pieces as well, such as soaps and jewelry. When I first stopped in, the owner commented on the garments I was buying and told me to stop in the following week saying she was going to have some similar dresses coming in. I returned the next week and walked out with two more dresses in the same style as the ones I previously bought. I've visited three times now and every time I walk out with at least two garments! Wowzers and oh my jee! My baby sis recommended this spot and it is a true vintage dream. I am so hesitant to post this because I want it to be our secret but this place needs to be visited by all ASAP. I've shopped at this store several times, returning each time because of the great merchandise. However, the customer service at this shop has been so bad during every visit that I will never go there again. The last time that I was there, I complimented the owner on some items that were on display in the window. She she heard me and looked at me but said nothing. She didn't say anything to me while I shopped or when I left. This shop is small, and I've sometimes been the only shopper in there. To ignore your customer, especially when she's spoken directly to you, in a shop as small as this one is downright rude and disrespectful.
