If you are there for imaging, you will be led to a changing room and allowed to use their free lockers (take your key with you on a stretchy bracelet) and change into a gown. It is a bit hot in the waiting room but since many (all?) of us are going to be topless for imaging, I get it. My wait was not long and the imaging itself took less than 10 minutes.

Recently I visited my back doctor and he wanted an MRI on me. So I made an appointment with the…read moreplace I had one done years ago. But after some thought I decided to change due to the time they wanted me there, and the distance. So I called my doctor's office back and asked to have the MRI done at Borg Ide imaging at Culver Park.I may also add the first time I had an MRI it wasn't pleasant due to the size of the machine, and I wasn't prepared for it. But I got through it. Things were different this time. My doctor gave me a sedative and the machine they used was bigger than the other one I had years ago. This machine was larger, the back was open, more spacious, and I was relaxed. :) Regarding the radiologist, "Sandy", she was a real pro, an all-star. Each phase of the procedure she told me how long it would be, and where we were at. It went very smooth. I was pleased and I highly recommend Borg Ide if you need an MRI.

I have had wonderful service at the Linden Oaks imaging center which was closed. The tech who did my imaging today at the Culver Ridge location was beyond awful. She complained about her job, how no one reads her notes, and was defensive throughout the entire procedure. She asked me for information and then snapped at me and told me that she couldn't use it because it had to come directly from the source. Made comments like, "Well, that's something I wouldn't know!" when I supplied her with an answer about where the original testing was done. She was the one asking the questions... It was very confusing. Constantly interrupting me and talking over me. Rather than issue directives, she chastised me for swallowing a mouthful of saliva-- but did not tell me she needed me to wait to swallow. She was defensive about why the procedure was being done. She seemed almost irritated that she had to do it. That makes two of us now... When I tried to tell her why my physician ordered the test, she again interrupted me and talked over me --pretty much the entire time. I finally just gave up and lay there, waiting for it to be over. She complained for the full half hour. Longest test I've ever had. And of course I'm concerned about my health this entire time...Patients are anxious enough about test results. We do not need angry, hostile, clearly traumatized workers with poor social skills doing these types of images. I don't know where I will go in the future if I need tests, but I hope there are still enough locations that it will not be back to Culver Ridge.

Last year COVID was more crazy, and it was really busy here. There is a lab before you get to the imaging area, and people were standing in the lobby waiting. This year, there was hardly anyone here. There was no one in the waiting room with me, and when I left, one person was there. Presumably the person with the appointment after mine. My scan was also much quicker this time. I'm not sure why, but I was in pain last year, but I'm still sure it was longer. It was 15 minutes max this year. I couldn't believe it! Also, there is a bathroom attached to the room. Since they may be probing your stomach, this may be helpful information to have, lol. There is also a bathroom in the waiting room where I stopped to fix my hair, so no shortage of bathrooms. When I left, there was still not line at the lab. The year before I waited over a half hour. It might just depend what time you're there. No complaints. Plenty of parking. I'd go here again, but hope I don't need to. :)

The phlebotomist was friendly and excellent at the draw. I will continue to go to this office for blood draws. They take good care of you and are good at what they do.

3rd bad experience here. Each time receptionists are sullen, don't even bother to greet you, it's…read moreobvious they hate being there. Bathroom was gross! RRH needs to do serious customer service training. 11/3/23 The receptionist was on the phone and ignored me for about 5 minutes. I could tell it was a personal call by the hushed voice, and finally she said, "I can't talk anymore" and hung up. No greeting, just said, "I need your ID" and took my license. She handed me a cup and said, "the bathroom's back there". The bathroom was disgusting; the toilet needed to be flushed (gross!), and the sink and toilet were dirty. I didn't want to touch anything! When I left, I went back out to find out what to do with my sample, and there was no one at the reception area. I yelled , "hello??", but never got any answer or found anyone. Another client told me someone was in a back room, so I found that person and she told me where to put it. Even she was sullen and unfriendly.

I've had a great experience with this imaging provider for Xrays. The building is easy to find, and…read morethe office is attractive, clean and very up to date. The reception staff is professional, knowledgable and efficient, as are the techs. My only complaint is that they refused to let me have a copy of my images. Unlike other providers I have used, their policy is that my ordering physician must request them for me and then they will get mail. Kinda weird, if even legal, and inconvienient.

I heard chatting as I waited for over an hour to be seen just for what needed to be done to take 15 minutes. I would understand if they were busy but the receptionist was taking personal phone calls that's how slow this place was. Extremely disappointed, after a long day at work waiting over an hour to be seen was gruesome.
