Donations were welcome. The displays were gorgeous... you must be up for reading. I read fast! Because it is a smaller museum, I would plan for about an hour visit. Less if you read fast. Comanche words were scattered everywhere, tying in with authentic Comanche art, artifacts, or collections... a few of which photos were not allowed. One of my softball coaches from college was/is Comanche. I still keep up with her on Facebook and her involvement with The Comanche Nation. The Comanche Code Talkers of World War II will never be forgotten! They were amazingly resilient... "their codes were never broken!" Loved all of the local artists pieces. Plus my kid and I got to try on a buffalo robe. Very kind woman at the check-in area on 7.26.2025. Clean women's restrooms!

We came to attend our son's BCT graduation and this was one of the first places we visited and we are so glad that we did - our son's AIT will be Artillery and this museum has a wealth of artillery history from pre-revolutionary times to modern. I especially enjoyed the video showing us what our son will be doing in the Army Artillery. This old Fort Sill National Historic Landmark requires some imagination because it's still fully integrated into the base and officers still live in the old houses surrounding the parade field . Be sure to start in the main building and look at the diorama to get your bearings before you walk around. The best display is the old cavalry barracks which is set up exactly as it would have been around 1890-1900. Ft. Sill played an amazing part in our frontier history and this post does a good job of explaining it.

This was the 2nd week of July, the package should have arrived to fort sill around July 13th-16th & I was told since I was already home by that point, it would be returned to sender & I should get it back at home. It is now September 4th and the package has never arrived. Those letters are priceless & not having that debit card has created a huge hassle for me! This is not a 3rd world country, it is not that difficult to correctly send back someone's mail, especially when expedited shipping was paid for! He estado en espera por una hora ya por telefono. I live out by Meers. my delivery person leaves my packages at the top of road. I also have a letter that is from irs that I signed for and still haven't received. I was home. all the person has to do was honk or knock on my door. so frustrated.
