I was here visiting from Colorado and in desperate need of a mani/pedi. I am pretty picky when it comes to my nails. Like everyone, I read the reviews and thought I'd take a chance since it was the closest one to me. One lady commented you "get what you pay for" and I'm a firm believer in that so I almost didn't try it based on that comment. I made an appointment same day for Friday at 1:30pm and Ray helped me with my nails. I had a dipped powder on and wanted to go back to the gel. He was very nice and every regular that came in (like 5 of them) he knew by name. I'm a fan of that as it shows he cares about repeat business. I'm not a Chatty Cathy when I get my names done so I was happy the conversation was minimal however I think if I wanted to chat, he would've been happy to. My pedicure went well with Patti. I had gel before but then decided to go back to a regular nail polish. She did a very good job and let me just play around on my phone without interruption. It's not a super POSH place but the work is good and I'll be going back when I'm in town. I feel like they have a wide variety of polish selection. They had my favorite go to color by OPI Cajun Shrimp in gel and regular which I was excited about. The total for all services came to $60 If I had just came for a regular mani/pedi it would've been $35. Some places paint sloppy or miss cuticles but I'm very happy and I'd say for the price, you should try it. I'd recommend an appointment just because in a Friday, they do get busy. read more

This place had great reviews so I decided to try it out. It ended up being worse than any nail salon I've tried so far service wise. I came in on a Friday trying to get a pedicure for my husband and myself. We went in, the man sitting at the first pedi booth was very rude and nonchalant. He said it was an appointment only establishment which is fine. I called to make an appointment for the next day, got there and got turned away again being told that an appointment was never made and that he wouldn't service us. Super upsetting and inconvenient because I had to drive 30 minutes twice both ways TWO DAYS IN A ROW. We all know gas prices ain't playing right now so definitely won't be going back. Really enjoyed doing my nails here. The place is quite spacious with about 9 stations for pedicures and about 8 stations for manicures, some chairs for those waiting, and a waxing station in the back. I also enjoyed the massage chair that worked out the kinks in my back. By far, one of the most cleanest and well kept nail salons I've seen. I took a star off because it took 20-25 minutes for my pedicure to start although there were only two other women doing their nails. Nonetheless, Tina did a great job! I was very skeptical of this nail salon as the decor was very outdated and there was not a glass of wine in sight. I previously had my first set of SNS dipped powder nails done in North Carolina and wasn't sure of where to continue my new habit in the Mt. Holly area. After reading a few reviews and seeing pix on Yelp, I liked Kevin's work the best. I must admit that I was somewhat disappointed in the limited supply of colors for the SNS dips but was very pleased with his results. . I have been going there for 12 years and now ray and Tina have changed I was yelled at by Tina several times for just comparing nail polishes to each other . I want suppose to touch nail polish that I am paying to have done .. ray makes customers cry and charged for pedicure when only did polish change on toes . I've been here twice. The first time was just as good as this time. This time I had a pedicure and a minute manicure. A give you a little bit of a massage that massage chairs are kind of awesome. And they're super attentive to any issues you might have. I tend to get very rough try feet and they definitely go to town on them. I got a French manicure this time but decided to have dark purple with black tips. They look absolutely perfect. The guy who did my nails was awesome. This place is great. My wife and I have been coming here for years now. The place is very clean their work is top notch. Pricing is reasonable. They do their best to try and fit everyone in, even if you are a walk in. I would strongly recommend calling ahead or scheduling an appointment to avoid long wait times. Them being busy is a definite sign of quality work. I have never heard a complaint from anyone ever while i was here. Highly recommend this business, we drive 25 minutes to get here. read more

Always pass this place and finally went in. They took me right away which is always a plus. The nail polish could be better- and a lot of them looked a bit crusty. The pedicure itself was a very thorough and the women got down and dirty. One major no no for me was this brush that they used at the end. It looked like it had seen better days to say the least. There was some obvious rust in the bristles and I'm guessing residue from past clients. If I had seen that from the beginning I would've asked for a pass on it. Don't go when you're in a hurry either because they had nothing to dry the nails on your feet- not even a fan. Price was fair $25 and they only accept cash tips. read more

Went here for the first time today and was very happy with my service. Was a walk in for a pedicure and was helped right away. Huge polish selection and there are two of each color which is good in case someone else wants the same. Very clean and thorough and it seemed like the employees knew regulars as they walked in which was nice. They don't accept tips on credit cards and don't have an ATM so make sure you have some cash on you for tipping! read more

I've been three times with months in between and had a different nail technician each time. Every time I leave thrilled with my nails! My gel nails always last for weeks at a time. The customer service here is horrible. I came to this place twice while I was pregnant and they told me it was only a 20min wait both and I ended up waiting 40min. So I left both times. Today is Mother's Day and i decided to try this place out a third time. I wanted a mani and pedi. After asking how much is gel polish for pedi, the lady told me she didn't have matching gel and regular polish for my pedi. So I decided to just get reg polish so my mani can match my pedi. Then she showed me a WHOLE collection of matching gel polish and reg polishes! She had an attitude while she was doing my nails. Buffering forcefully, knocking her utensils over. She was talking on her phone. Doing the service very sloppy with no care. So I told her to stop and I left because all I wanted to do was relax and enjoy my very first Mother's Day and she wasn't trying to let that happen. read more

I came here today to get my nails done and for my sisters birthday. She got a gel manicure and I got a full set of nails. I showed the woman a picture of a design I wanted and said if she could not do that design I would like something more simple. She did not try and give me what I wanted. She left nail polish all over my nails. I asked her to remove the excess nail polish multiple times and she never did. And also a glob of glue flowing from the bottom of my pinky nail. I did not notice the CLEAR glue was on my finger till a few hours later while washing my hands. The glue started to come off and when I tried to gently remove it, it ripped a large chunk of skin off. When I called about my service saying I was unhappy and that I would like my money back, the MANAGER continued to yell at me saying that it was my fault that this all happened. All he cared about was my nails and not that I was very unhappy with my service. And when I asked him if this is how he treats his costumers he continued to yell saying he would not help me. Needless to say I will not be coming back, and they ruined this experience for me and my sister. read more

I loved that I didn't feel gross getting my pedi/mani done. Secondly, everyone here is super friendly. I enjoyed seeing that the employees knew some of the regulars. I was in the area and had to get a gel manicure. This place is terrific! The owners are a lovely young married couple, and they seemed to greet everyone who walked in by name. The place is spotless, the tools are sanitized and sealed and their assortment of polishes is extensive. I was impressed by the fact that they did not cut the cuticles and they properly soaked off the old polish and did not use the sander machine on my nails.
