However, this rinky-dink small shop near Mendham, NJ was a fast and smooth operation. The line was sliced and diced within minutes. The guy who worked the booth, had a sense of humor - was not grumbling and stumbling - and when I asked for a receipt, said; "You can have the kitchen sink." New Jersey humor does get you through the day. This small postal office had the stamps, it had the mailboxes and it made a great impression on me. First thing I noticed was the small post boxes almost vintage, and then the cookies at the counter ! How freakin nice, the clerk offered and was very nice considering the hectic time of year. It's a small office but they have all the basic features to ship your packages and they have P.O. Boxes...if you need that service as well. This location was clean, fully stocked, and neatly kept. I walked in and the lady at the counter was friendly and approachable (unlike many other Postal workers). Had small talk while the system was restarting. So, looks like this location made improvements from the previous reviews years ago. I will return to use this USPS as I was in-and-out quickly and the customer service was excellent.
