I was told by the unhelpful lady behind the desk that they never received the package even though she was the *same* lady that took the package and printed the label and put the label on a package only for it to disappear. So basically she fucked up and she's trying to make it seem like I dropped the ball. No ma'am. That's a one star review. She argued that there's no record of the package after I printed the label. I did not print the label. I do not have a printer. She printed the label while I watched and then lied about it. The same unhelpful civil servant who lost my package then offered me assistance in filing a claim. Brain dead and incompetent. It breaks my heart that my tax dollars are paying for this person's pension. Your mileage may vary.

First, this post office is very neat and clean inside. All of the pens worked and there was plenty of space for me to write out addresses and get everything organized before I walked to the counter to ship my packages. What really put my experience over the top was Cathy, or Cat I think she goes by. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and patient. She was multi-tasking all of my shipping needs, explaining everything AND taking care of other customers questions when appropriate. She seemed like she knew everyone who walked in and took great pride in her job. Needless to say, I walked out of the Post Office with a big smile on my face all because of her customer service!

It's a big building but they only have one window so I'd imagine you'd face a wait if someone had a lot of packages in front of you. Luckily (compared to some of the other post offices in the area) the clerk Jo-Ann was nice and friendly to all the customers in line yesterday. Next delivery, i'm in the room where I hear mail delivered, I hear the beeps of the machine, but no knock or doorbell.
