Then came the surprise - the cost to ship it was over $100. Ouch! It went UPS and should be in Ohio in 5 days.

Kolby and his crew showed up on time, rearranged my 26 foot Uhaul that had been loaded badly already (moving to Alaska from MN). Got everything nice and snug, and then loaded what I needed from my apt and garage with a little room to spare. Kolby and his young crew were very respectful and moved things quickly, asking me along the way what should be loaded or not. My stuff was complicated. Got it done in a minimal amount of time too. The following day, I went to uhaul to pick up a car hauler, only to find out that they could only hook the trailer to the truck and help to load my vehicle, but they couldn't strap my vehicle to the trailer. Also the trailer didn't have straps, it was a toy hauler. I am a senior women, I don't know how to do this. After calling a friend for suggestions, and a tow company that couldn't do it, I called Doug. They were just finishing a moving job, he said they'd be there in about 30 minutes. And they were. Doug went with me into the uhaul store and picked out the straps I needed, and he and Kolby got my Jeep all strapped down. Even checked that the trailer was on the truck hitch correctly. They saved me twice, I am so thankful, I was finally able to get on the road. If you need movers, call Doug. Doug and Kolby are wonderful, and they will calmly, quickly and respectfully get your move done.

Ben and Vern were my two movers, and they were super strong, kind, quick, efficient, professional and had everything packed up in an hour! Once we got to the new place, they unloaded in the same amount of time, and helped me lay out the rug in the bedroom too! They took super good care of my stuff, no damages at all, and were encouraging each other throughout the process and it was great to see their teamwork! This place is a disaster. Employees seem constantly frazzled and confused. I receive notifications…read morethat a package has arrived, but when I get to the store I'm told they have no record of it. Amazon notifies me they've brought packages to the UPS Store, but employees will claim otherwise. I pay extra for locker service, but my packages are rarely put into my locker. When I ask why, I'm usually told that "there's a problem with the lockers today." These daily locker problems have been going on for months. I've had several packages go missing, either misplaced by employees or put into the wrong lockers and stolen by other customers. When I've been able to prove they've lost a package, they delay replacing it by carrying on "investigations" that go nowhere. They then promise to write a check to replace the package, but claim only the manager can do so. The manager is conveniently never there when I arrive. I am constantly frustrated by this UPS Store. They don't seem to have the desire or the ability to improve.
