Upon returning to the store, I was given a couple options. Option 1. Take it and hold it for an exchange. Option 2. Pay for a new one that they would order in (why do I need to pay to stock store shelves?). And option 3. Hold onto it and return it, then buy another one when it's restocked. We discussed that option 3 would work best for me, since I need it to make face shields to donate do healthcare workers on the front line. However I voiced a concern with the store manager that since it was broken out of the box, broken merchandise would not be accepted as a return some unknown number of weeks down the line. Rhonda, the store manager, was unwilling to provide a written note of acknowledgement on this issue, and proceeded to provide me with a bureaucratical re-reading of the return policy on the receipt. Which, as per staples.com, requires that the product "be returned in saleable condition with the original packaging." Being that this was damaged, that return policy did not apply, and I feel as if Rhonda was attempting to manipulate me into a sale for which no return policy or remediation would exist. Given these circumstances, I had no choice to return the product. Thank you, Rhonda, for your ability to easily deny any accountability, for providing me inaccurate information regarding the Staples return policy, and for delaying a shipment of important medical supplies.

I found this gem on Yelp & decided to check it out bc ~local business! Was a little tricky to find because they're upstairs but as long as you're on Moscow's Main Street reading door/suite signs you'll find it by the bagel place! Anyways, Amy (I think!) was super helpful and had me try on my paisley and purple pants in the dressing room & then pinned them to the length/taper I wanted while discussing my final vision. I also brought in a torn coat and they explained their pricing/labor/time for the 3 pieces very clearly and professionally so there were no surprises. I felt super comfortable and (despite poor Amy casually suffering the stench of my skating sneakers in the dressing room- I'm sorry!!) well taken care of by the gals here who called in two weeks (as they said they would) with a v fair price (as expected). Best part: my pants look frickin fabulous!!! So happy with their service- go to them if you need hemming/tailoring or any clothing repairs bc it's so worth it :) thank you!!!!

They store is a decent size for a tailor and they have multiple sewing machines/threads for their sewing classes. They play great music too :) They charge a little extra for rush hours, depending how short of a time frame you need your alterations by, but it seems reasonable. They were the only tailors I could find in the area (Spot Shop in Pullman does not offer alterations anymore) and I was so relieved that they had such great customer service. They have an area with little handmade merchandise for purchase, such as baby bibs and yoga mat holders. I got a cute chicken/rooster print boho bag. I hope they open up a stand at the Moscow Farmer's Market soon...they have such cute prints for their fabrics! I am having a bridesmaid dress hemmed and will be receiving it next week but I am sure that it will turn out great. I will be back again if I ever need alterations!

Nice cross-section of young and older members, and it was great to meet several of the aerie officers while we were there. Cool thing was they were all the younger generation, so it's safe to say the torch has been passed at #2277. That is critical to the survival of the fraternity/sorority. Pretty darned busy on a Tuesday afternoon, and that in itself tells ya somethin'. Everyone was Eagle-friendly, and Moscow is certainly one of our favorites clubs in the PNW...

Easy parking out front on the street, even if you have to park around the corner if it's crowded. Really cozy main bar/restaurant with a large dance floor, 10' x 10' stage for live music, popcorn machine, darts, and very nice bar plus table seating. There is a large banquet facility just beyond as well. And as always, just wonderful people inside always happy to welcome new visitors or members from other Aeries around the country. If you're already an Eagle, stop in and say hello! And if you're not, it's a very welcoming organization with very easy admission policies to become a member, and then start to enjoy their amazing bar prices and camaraderie of the members. Great Eagles club - by all means stop in and give them a try!! This is one of the coziest Aeries we've come across in our travels.

I had asked to mail something and he immediately began snapping at me telling me I needed to tape my label. I had mentioned that I wanted to make sure that it was labeled properly because it had been incorrectly labeled the last time by the post office and I was now re-sending it and he became very accusatory stating that i was the one who had the label and he wasn't adding another label to it. he kept interrupting me and just being rude. when I had asked if they had tape I could use he continued snapping at me telling me "I'd have to purchase some." and "that's why he told me to tape it on." it actually took another customer stepping in and being nice to me for him to suddenly change his tone. even if everything he said was correct he was so nasty while doing it. perhaps he should find a job that doesn't require him to work with the general public and actually treat people with human decency. ‍

Had to wait in line for a long time to get terse interaction with a surly woman who seemed very unengaged when she took my order. In the meantime it took forever for my order to arrive having ended up in seattle instead of the east coast by mistake. While the 40 something cent letter seemed like a really good deal, the other items seemed really expensive, and the prices seemed not to make sense at all. I paid about 13 dollars and it ended up being only a tiny 2 ounce widget to send to England. The staff bringing the orders out to the houses seems great, it is mainly the people who take your orders who seem to think that you are a major annoyance.
