Worst post office in the world! the heavy set diversity hire with braids refused to mail my package!!! as soon as i walk in she yells at me to go stand over in the corner where this little sign is at even though no one was at the counter. then as i am reading some posters she yells at me to go stand behind the sign. then when i ask her a question about the shipping rates she refused me service and went to hide in the back. worse yet. another customer comes in and she waddles up to the counter to give them a change in address form. stretching around me to give them the form. Needed my mail held for a week and when I went to pick it up, they office had no clue where any of my mail was. Very disappointing. They sent me to other post offices to retrieve my mail but it was a wild goose chase. Just don't use this post office if you can help it. read more

The employees here place a very low value on customer service and seem to pride themselves in taking every initiative they can to make a customer look like a fool. My first experience consisted of me picking a box for a jacket I was mailing. When I got to the counter, the older gentleman told me I was supposed to I just come to the desk with the package and have them package it for me. He ended up charging me for both the incorrect box I used, and the correct box in which the jacket was packaged. They also charged me for the entire roll of tape I used to seal the box, no other post office has charged me to use tape. On this second and final trip I took, I was mailing off some headphones. They were placed in its original package with the owners manual and everything. So this time, I went straight to the desk, and the lady looks at my like I'm stupid and asked ".....well do you have a box for it?" I started to explain to her the the gentleman from last time told me to request a box at the desk to avoid being charged for two boxes. She reluctantly started barely looking for one and began to tell me that she didn't have a box that this package could fit in but she eventually found one. And again, they asked me if I had tape. When I said no, they laughed and remarked "he seems to be making a collection." So yet again, I was charged for a roll of tape that I will barely be using. Do not come to this post office. They find joy in playing on your intelligence. They hate when people walk in, yet make the process of mailing packages off so much longer than than it has to be and will still find a way to blame it on you. read more

After leaving in literal tears for the 2nd time I wanted to leave a post of how rude and poorly treated I was by the woman who works Saturday days on the post office in Mount Holly. From completely ignoring me to eye rolls. I will never Go here again. read more

Please fire the entire staff ( exept for the tattoo guy he is nice) and hire people who are friendly. I drive an extra 15 minutes to go to the rancocas or Columbus post offices to avoid this place. It reminds me of a DMV from the 80's. A line out the door. They have three windows with only one or sometimes two open at a time. And when you eventually get waited on you get attitude and it seems like the clerks move in slow motion. This place is government waste at its worst. read more

Just don't. In order to get a job here, you need to have on your resume things like," hate everyone, try to be rude as much as possible, and don't sort the mail." Qualifications include, IQ less than your shoe size and a contest that runs weekly called "Let's be mean to everyone". I hate this place. read more

Avoid this post office if you can. Always a long line or long wait. The staff is very rude and pushy. They will charge you the highest unless you insist on a lower price. Drive down the road to Lumberton if you can - they are much nicer. read more

The people are not customer service oriented and they completely ignore the phone as it rings off the hook. It's also trashed constantly. Take 5 minutes and clean up your place and maybe you'll be more organized and less busy. read more

I hate going to the Mount Holly post office it is totally uncomfortable and very threatening feeling considering the looks and the way you get treated when you're in there you obviously can't do anything right even though you're the customer.. .. this has been going on for many many years and yet no one bothers to set a standard so that people are treated like human. They are horrible at dealing with people, it doesn't matter what it's about. I wish I could get my mail to stop going there it's a reason issue when I have to go and get something that's extremely upsetting knowing I'm going to go there and have an issue . They are not helpful at all if anything it appears that they go out of their way so you can't get your items . I really wish they would get some customer service and they're so I didn't hate having to go to the Post office .... This has been going on for many many years , and no one does anything it's just sad nothing will ever improve and only get worse to parking sucks a people stuck inside I wish they would just close it down they would be doing everyone a favor ! read more

Absolute worse experience...Recently moved to the town and had to deal with Felicia and Lisa, two females that work there and they are THE RUDEST people I have ever dealt with....their unprofessionalism has literally left me blown away...hopefully, my dealings with this post office will be limited...They really should re-evaluate who they have dealing with customers at this location...I spoke to others who live in the area and they knew right away of whom I was speaking of at this post office...horrible...absolutely horrible experience... read more

I am leaving 1 star but in all honestly it should be a "0" star rating!! I also agree with Colin R and like many, I also drive an extra distance ( Hainesport) on a regular basis even though I live in Mount Holly because the employees are the absolute worst I have ever dealt with in my entire life!! They are Nasty, Rude and Condescending while they make every attempt to embarrass you as if your stupid. They have attempted to overcharge me on multiple occasions for prepaid packages in which I was issued a refunds after filing a complaint with consumer affairs. The Mount Holly Clerks refused to give me a receipt or scan my packages that had delivery or signature confirmation and I've had several packages disappear that I had to refund my customers due to items with delivery confirmation never being scanned or delivered.. As a business owner I am appalled that these postal employee's still retain a job and allowed to treat customers in such a manner.that they have to drive to other locations to avoid such treatment!!! Shame on you USPS for continuing to allow these employees to be paid to treat customers this way. read more

I really appreciate the work of the Mt. Holly post office. My regular mail delivery is handled with efficiency and care. The "hold the mail" service is much appreciated. On the infrequent times I go in to the main building I find the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable and the services and products available cover everything I need. Any time I have ever called with a question about delivery or other services, the distribution building staff have been sincerely concerned about my issue and diligent about researching the answer for me. As an Eastampton resident without a post office of our own, I am grateful that the Mt. Holly post office meets our needs so well. :-) read more

I came here to ship out one small box and 7 small bubble envelopes (eBay, of course!). The parking is behind the building and there are very limited spaces, and the actual set up of the parking lot isn't great. The room inside is on the smaller side, and I could see if there was a long line to ship something how that would be difficult because there is enough room for maybe three people to stand in line. I had forgotten to write my return address on the packages, and as I stepped to the window and placed them on the desk, the woman working at the window hastily informed me that the USPS did not accept "anonymous" packages, and pushed everything back to me. There was not a line at all, so I wasn't concerned about waiting, and I was determined to not let her get under my skin! I stepped back to the window after I had written my address on the packages, and after she weighed the box and put the postage on the box, she asked me if I understood that she would have to type in each town name to get a tracking number and that she would prefer to just give me stamps for them that I would put on myself and then mail... I explained that I would prefer the tracking number, but kept a smile on my face, as I understand that working at the Post Office probably isn't the easiest job, I'm sure there are people that are terribly mean to the employees, but I came there to get tracking numbers. Ultimately I think she warmed up a little bit and did weigh and label each individually with a tracking number, but I didn't like her immediate reaction to having to do a little more work. I hope that the next time I come in, they are a little friendlier. read more
